the ram discounts and grand slam interior = best sales ever so far

https://www.tfltruck.com/2019/04/ram-trucks-increased-sales-in-march-but-most-other-trucks-are-declining-sales-report/

After 3 months, they are outselling the SILVY..  SIlverado is down 15% YOY so far . not a good sign as the Sierra is also down 2% YOY..While Ram is up 15% YOY

I know GM started later with their new 19+ models and 3-4 months is small sample size to judge a product  but you cannot deny RAM has an appealing product . Next 3 months should be interesting .

It is hard for me not to look at the 2019 Ram for my next truck. Their pricing is amazing but I still question the quality. I am expecting and will hold out for some good incentives from GM in the next few months on the T1 once the limited models are gone.

I have 9 months left ou n my denali lease. Thank God I leased it because it's been in the shop about 12 times for major and minor issues, leaks, tcm failure, all injectors replaced 2 times now ect.....

When I replace it I will be paying cash for the truck and I will be looking at the Denali, ram limited, and raptor with the new v8 hopefully. Which ever I like best and has the best price I will be purchasing. All brands will have issues and lemons so it's really luck of the draw. I'm hoping incentives on the denali are there and my father in law worked for GM so I get that discount too. Hoping it will work out.

My 2017 denali I got in feb 2017 and got close to 20k off. Stickered at 67 got it for 49 something.

Why were your injectors replaced?
The truck at idle would surge from 400 to 800 rpms and you could feel it jerking when stopped. This happened 2 times. The second time the truck was in for the shake and the service advisor noticed it and did it while the truck was already there. It seems like it is starting to do it again as well

Whatever you do make sure you check the VIN number and build sheet. If it starts with a 3 it's made in Mexico. If it has a rear slider window get one made in November or later to not an early made truck like mine that after one day in my driveway had a soaked interior from the rear window leaking issue.

In general the last 6 digits of the VIN is a sequential number. Starting at 100000. So if your truck is 107xxx, that means it's the 7,xxx truck made at that plant (I think). I am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Because Chevy and gmc had no incentives until March really, there is a lot of inventory on dealer lots that could be an early build like my truck made in August of 2018.

Otherwise good luck.

I am leaning towards ordering a truck with all the options I want! I have done that with the past four trucks I have purchased and I have been so much happier with them.
