Window tint question

I just bought my 2016 Silverado used and it had window tint on it already. From the outside they are all pretty dark. But from the inside the back passenger windows are a dark grey tint and the front two are more of a brownish or sepia color. I’m not a big fan of the brownish color but I’m not spending money to get it fixed if it ain’t bubbling up or messed up.

I went with the Llumar Ceramic tint. Had installed at a tint shop. I went with 15% on the front windows and 80% on the rear windows and back window. Matches perfectly, installer showed me different shade examples to match front and rears before applying. Installer was explaining to me that If you just go with front tint to match factory rear, you don't get the heat and UV protection, as the factory tint is just tint, no protection. Plus, all my windows match looking out from the inside. Plus, lifetime warranty on tint and installation.

My tone is close but not 100% looking out. Looking in looks nice.

IMHO, I think if your wanting the factory windows to match close to the front window tint, you will have to apply a light shade over the rear windows. As factory windows have dye and are not the same at foil tint. Factory window tinting does not offer UV protection and only affects color. If you want them to have the same appearance from the inside you will need to have the same brand of tint applied only lighter.

I agree tint wise they will be hard to match but how colors appear through the tint when looking out should not be this different in my opinion. My wife has regular (not ceramic) 20% and colors are true or very close to my factory windows

I should clarify too im just wanting the color tone of objects to be similar when looking out between the factory 20 and the ceramic 20. I took two pictures today using the red flag and black truck as reference colors. My last truck did not have ceramic and the color tone difference was minimal if any at all. Left pic is factory 20 right pic is ceramic 20

My fronts were done with 18% tiny, and match very well I feel. I am thinking of switching to ceramic though...

The factory "tint" is just for privacy and offers no heat rejection or UV protection. I tinted by rear windows with 5% and the two front windows with 20%. The darker windows sure does help with this Texas heat, let me tell you and the added privacy is also great. I can sit in the back seat and no one even knows I'm there.
