Z71 emblem in RST grill

I got them from here. I got the raised dome style and not the flat one. I was not concerned about price when I ordered. Not sure about quality, I am thinking they may all be the same but then again I've always believed you get what you pay for. I live in Texas so when the package arrived the adhesive backing was already melting somewhat and caused the letters to stick to the cardboard packaging. It was kind of a pain to make sure they lined up correctly. I am a bit OCD though.

Well, so far not so good.

I've tried calling several times after they opened with no answer. Just sent an email a few minutes ago. The reason for the calls and email is I cannot get the transaction to go thru because it keeps kicking it out because of the month expiration fate of all things.

All good now. It was actually the year expiration date that was the problem. It requires the 4 digit year code.

I bought them on Amazon. They are not OEM or anything but that didn't matter to me. I prefer the style of this particular one.

Looks good! maybe one day I’ll spend the $60 for it or get the cheaper one on amazon. I got my RST from NorthPark Chevy, they had the best price in SA

Don't buy the cheaper one from amazon. I did that and it was a piece of crap, single bolt stripped out as soon as I tried installing it. Went with the OEM one off of ebay for $65 and it worked out perfect. Even installed it without removing anything. Looks better than the amazon one also.

I just got the OEM one and it didn't come with instructions, but do you really need to remove the grill to install it?

No u can make it work without removing the grill. I fed the backing pieces through the grill in the slot under the desired location. Then work it up and behind the grill where u want it to be. Finally you can pop the z71 piece into place and it will stay put. Hard to explain,simple to do. I was told this from another forum brother/sister. Pulling the grill is not fun. I had already added the led emblem and was dreading doing it again. Good luck!! Hope u have smaller hands or long skinny fingers

Thanks! It worked perfectly. Looks very nice with it! I was thinking of getting the illuminated emblem, but I saw one in town, and it looked a different shade of color and it wasn't as bright. My 2016 Camaro had the same issue with the color and brightness.

Anybody know where you can get the grill Z71 emblem in blue instead of red? Everybody’s doing red so I’m switching up to blue. But I can’t find the grill emblem in blue I’ve been able to find everything else in blue or in black if that’s my other choice but I cannot find the grill emblem in blue. Any help would be greatly appreciated

check e-bay ? i found lime green ones that work on the grill ( over lay ), also it the same size for the door still ( Z71) . Door emblem Lime Green ( local tint shop ) . good luck

The Z 71 on the 2020 front grill is really really tiny. And I have not seen them anywhere but the originals if you have a link to anything different I would sure take it
