Westin R5

Hey Guys, I didn't want to start a new thread but I can't find any topics on these steps and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Westin R5's build/quality or has any pictures?? I know there's lots of threads about steps, but I can't find anything on the R5 or R7's. I want to bite the bullet and get a set in black for my white Sierra, but need more info! Lol  Any thoughts on these?

I ordered the Westin Pro Traxx 4 in black for my white Silverado and had one side just about installed when I noticed I ordered them for the crew cab instead of for my double cab. I was able to see that the black is going to look great with the white truck once I get the right size.

It looks like the r5's install the same way.

Installation is pretty simple and I really like the fact that they give you the plastic pieces that cover up the mounting brackets. Looks much better than the pictures I've seen of similar Lund nerf bars with the thin mounting brackets showing.

As far as quality, the Pro Traxx 4 are very nice and seemed well built, so I would imagine the r5 or r7 would be good quality.

Hey, thanks for help. I actually just ordered a set of the pro traxx 4 oval myself instead of the the R5 that I found to have the plastic caps that you speak of, and thought that the sealed tube would be better. Waiting for them to arrive, I also have a white truck crew cab though and order them in black so if you say they look good I can wait  ?
