I worked with Randy over at Seating Solutions to get my driver's seat lifted up in the 2019 TrailBoss. I just felt the seat height was too low and my view over the dash wasn't that good. My wife also ran over a curb the first day I got it. After we talked back and forth about the seat and sent some pics, Randy developed a 1.5" lift kit. So I tried it out and it worked beautifully. The seat lift uses quality materials, it looks like factory, and I can see much better with a comfortable height. If interested in more pics of the install let me know. Hope this helps you all.

I don't understand why can't I just motor the seat up with the button for power seats. Not that it matters at 6' 2".

How much is this and where can you order from?  I may be interested as my passenger seat is not power adjustable and is very short

That's a great idea, and very well executed.

One thing I can say, and others may have more knowledge on the subject - I dont believe it is legal to modify the seat/safety components of the vehicle. Again it may depend on your state, and insurance provider.

Even though you have better materials than the stock ones. If there was an accident and the seat let go (for whatever reason, unlikely as it is) it may become an issue or point of contention.

I know typically insurance companies ask about modifications. I'd just be weary on this one.

You are correct it is illegal. Most companies list them as off road use or race use. Safety equipment must be approved and tested as is.
I would worry about the liability but also getting hurt myself.

The issues comes down to people on here that make "Trail Boss" posts that don't identify if its a "Custom" Trail Boss, or an "LT" Trail Boss.  OP's signature says he has a Custom TB, so no power seat.  LT TB has power driver's seat.  If it was described as a Custom TB in the post, it would have made sense right away to the modification.

sorry we wasted 3-4 minutes of your time. Most of us are aware the custom is "less" of a truck than the LT, and upward.

?  My issue was that people on here just say Trail Boss.  There are two Trail Boss, Custom and LT.  Answers to questions asked may vary based on what version one might have.  Adding the "Custom" or "LT" goes a long way.

fair enough. I thought it was a dig, my bad.

You're right, the custom lacks a lot of options that are standard in higher models. The largest complaint seems to be the center console storage, so far.

Honestly I don't get why power driver seat is not available WT all the way up LOL.  Its a bit ridiculous in 2019 and I see exactly why OP built lift brackets.

yeah I had a little rant about the dislikes of my CTB in another thread. no cd player, no volume control, no rear wheel liners, just a lot of small $ items that should be standard

So far so good, my visibility is much better now and it's a more comfortable seating position. I kinda see what you're saying about the modifications, the safety pin is still set in place but it has not been tested hence why I only did it to my seat and not the passenger seat. I feel pretty confident that the amount of force to shear the bolts would be devastating regardless. Thanks for the input though.

I need this on my RST passenger seat. It sits ridiculously low. The wife can barely  see over the hood. Will try to do a search on the vendor.

Thanks
