Ok, i have been looking at this for a month or so, are the fog light bright?

I have a 2004 suburban and i can barely tell when they are on or off. In my old truck i can clearly see when they were on. I want to make sure of this before i put some money down.

How much did it cost to have someone reprogram the BCM? I saw that you said it didnt require the dealership, who did you go to, to have it reprogrammed, or was it plug and play?

I just got done installing them today. I still have to go get then programmed. Its plug and play in certain areas. Such as wiring a new pin in the BCM harness as well as one in the fuse box. After that, it really is much simpler. If I can get in to get programmed tomorrow, I'll try and get some pics up of the brightness.

Getting them to work does require a flash from the dealership. The dealership will have to contact GM directly to obtain the info necessary to reflash. Make note that your fog lights should come with a one time use authorization code that the dealer needs when they contact GM. Getting them programmed should cost not more than an hour labor ~$130ish.

Looks good. I keep pushing the button in hopes that they'll turn on, but I'll just have to wait. After the flash, did the light indicator in the instrument panel turn on when you put then on?

Can you take pictures of it at night from the drivers perspective with them on and off to see the difference? It will be greatly appreciated.

I have horrible night vision, even worse if its raining. I have an RST Z71 and the factory fog lights are great. Totally worth it.

This is what I took tonight. Just bear in mind I'm on a slight downward angle and the might need to be aimed. Also, headlights are turned off.

Sooooo....any tips or tricks to getting the wire through the firewall? All I saw was a nipple in the grommet that's completely closed up.

So I'm stuck here. I'm usually pretty good at mods, but these instructions are kinda confusing to me. Does this look right? Am I supposed to push the wires in from the bottom here?

For those that installed the Factory fog kits yourself. Did your kit come with the u-nuts and fasteners that are mentioned in the instructions for attaching the light to the bumper. I ordered the Sierra fog kit and it didn't come with these items which is very frustrating.

I believe that you reuse the bolts/nuts when you remove the covers.
