Air con dripping on exhaust?

I have a 6.2 AT4 and when I stop it sounds like the air con is dripping on the exhaust? Did they locate the air con drain right above the exhaust in this vehicle or is something broken? 

 

There is no oil/coolant in the driveway so I dont think its a vital fluid draining out..

Mine does the exact same thing, it drips and sizzles. Nothing wrong, I guess poor design.

Do you also have an exhaust sound that sounds like an exhaust leak at the manifold? Im trying to figure out which sounds are normal as the truck is just a couple of weeks old.

I do not but the injectors are very loud on the 6.2, they are not a quiet engine.

If it bothers you enough you could put a longer drain hose on and route it clear of stuff. I’ve had to do that on other vehicles.

I have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500.  Same thing with mine.

Mine does the same has anyone put a longer drain hose to reroute the dripping the noise is annoying and pretty steady if I drive with the air on. I have looked to find the hose but no such luck even dealership claimed they couldn't find it and I just basically needed to deal with it.

My 2020 trail boss does same thing be nice to have options to relocate.

Not sure but GM must have done it for a reason.  I the design individuals didn't put into consideration the attention this would draw from the general public.
