2014 - 2018 1500 GM HOW TO: Remove Fuel Injectors

Here is a 2014+ GM 1500 HOW TO: Remove Fuel Injectors

 

If you haven't already look at the HOW TO: Remove the Air box and the Intake Manifold topics

 

  1. Disconnect Battery terminal
  2. remove air box assembly
  3. remove intake manifold
  4. release any built up pressure by unscrewing the fuel filler cap.
  5. Remove the foam insulator pad

  7. Disconnect the Fuel injector connectors
  8. Remove mounting bolts on fuel rail.

  10. Remove fuel rail with injectors
  11. Using snap ring pliers remove the ring around the injector

  13. remove injector

  15. replace with unnecessarily high flowing injectors :)
