My point is that these “trucks” are supposed to be “offroad" and absolutely do not live up to that stock. What’s the point of having a truck if its setup like a prius. So I’m guessing everyone that has lifts and bigger tires just deals with the fact that gas mileage sucks and there truck feels slow compared to stock.

You are obviously exaggerating a bit here. The truck can do so much more than a prius: ground clearance, weight carrying ability, 4x4, towing, etc. Your "need" for larger tires and lift kit/level don't really help any of those, except in very extreme off-road situations, which in reality, almost nobody really needs. You don't drive a rock crawler as a DD.

My garbage stock Goodyear sras were probably the worst tire ever made and they are on a truck that's made to be driven in adverse conditions.

This is true. I had them too. All you need to do to fix it is replace them with some decent all-terrain tires in the same size. Many options exist. I found Cooper Discoverer AT3 to meet or exceed all my expectations. Larger sized tires do not improve performance in any way, they are purely for looks.

My 2017 came with Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude 265-65-R18. Great tires all around. I replaced them when they wore out with Michelins, because I needed more of a highway tire.

My 2014 on 20s came with the Continentals, and they were garbage. The Eagle LS-2s I put on after (also a stock offering) were great. The SR-A is not, and i would not keep those on.

Changing his gears for power will kill MPG even WORSE.

US is almost outta oil. Gasoline went to 15% ethanol this month..even less power and MPG as last month.

It is going to get worse. Gear changes wont help. Lighter low rolling resistance tires will...so to look Cool with heavier tires...pay more.

We've had 15% for a looooong time. I remember 2007/2008 when filling up smelled like you pouring rye whiskey out of a still. Nothing new. We're not out of oil.

Don't you have another AFM alarmist thread to comment on?

We have. If I can smell it strong while pumping gas, there's a good bit in there. The pumps around here all say that up to 10% may be present. If it smells like somebody dumped a gallon of vodka by the gas pump, it's gotta be way higher. No way is E15 a new thing. We've had worse, and plenty of times.

We are not out of oil. You need to refill your prescription.

Ok genius.

Why can I buy E85 YEAR ROUND if a little ethanol in gas causes smog in summer?
