I’m wondering if the head unit solved your problem? I’m having the exact same issue with my 21

Unfortunately I'm still waiting on parts. Got a call from the dealer last week they need to pull the head unit again to provide GM with some numbers from the back of the unit?  I feel like I'm getting the runaround.

I'm having the same issue. Everything on the screen works but the audio cuts out and sometimes it's for hours or days. I've had 2 radios and 1 amplifier replaced and the issue is still there. One thing I did notice is that my issues started when the weather gets hot. In the fall and winter I had no issues.

Probably irrelevant to everyone else's issue but I had the same problem with my new 2022 Tahoe and it was self inflicted. I added the boost auto wireless charger because the factory one sucks. While I was doing it I unplugged the factory wireless charger intentionally and left it unplugged intentionally. The next day no audio at all just as everyone else describes. I figured no way anything I did caused it and it seems to be well documented that it's an issue but after a lot of troubleshooting I figured what the heck and plugged the wireless charger back in. Wa La! Sound! So if anyone has messed with the wireless charger or yours has possibly failed may be something to look into. Why on earth this matters I have no idea but it does.

Bought a new 2022 Sierra two months ago. First issue I had was static in the speakers. Not always, I would say once every 2-3 days. Nothing I could do to fix it on my own so I brought it to the dealer. They installed a software update it all was good for a week or two. Then yesterday I turned on the truck and no sound. Turned off the truck, waited 3 minutes or so and started it again, still no sound. Then I reset the radio in "safe mode" and the radio worked. Left it there for 10 minutes or so than restarted the truck. All was fine. This happened twice today... Not happy. Calling the dealer on Monday to see if they can help.

I am exactly the same boat for the last 2 years. They have replaced nearly the entire unit by now but I still lose all sound when it gets hot in my 2019 Silverado.

Did you ever get any resolution to this?

So has anyone actually come up with a fix for this? Or are we just gonna comment for three years straight?

Mine is getting a new part in the next 2-3 weeks and if it works, I will let you know. Something to do with a Speaker connector or something, I'll post the details when I know. They have already replaced my main radio module, fixed a connector, and replaced an amp twice with no effect so my confidence is not high. They have apparently been taking with GM engineering though

2023 Chevy Silverado - Speakers go out completely on the stereo. No stereo, no bluetooth, no Onstar. Started at 350 miles. Once I stop the truck and restart they seem to work again most of the time ( not always). I have taken this in to the dealer and they tell me GM knows about the problem and is working on a fix. I have also escalated this to GM supervisors and they tell me the same thing. In looking at other posts this looks like it has been an issue for a few years. To me, this is not an acceptable answer from GM. I have purchased a new truck that does not work correctly, and GM knows it and will not work with the customer at all. You would think they would offer a concession like maybe an extended warranty ( their cost ) on the electronics to make the customer happy. What a crazy world we live in.............not happy  in Nevada

My stereo is working again. There was some connector under the dash they found that was bent and when they replaced it this time, so far I have had 5 days of audio back. I’ll try and find out exactly which connector it was, maybe it’s a common issue that can be fixed or cause a recall or something.

Is the audio issue resolved? If so, were you able to trace the connector's location?
