How are you all carrying kayaks?

Just picked up two 12 foot fishing kayaks for me and the wife. Hope to be able to handle these pulling the camper too. What solution have you all found?

Had the same problem. Ended up fitting two kayaks inside our travel trailer, and my wife drives her Subaru and we put two ontop of that.

I've seen a bunch of guys at the campground with ladder racks on their beds, or leer truck caps with a Thule rack ontop of that with kayaks.

I made a ladder rack for my last truck. It was a lot of work but got the job done. I might just buy a ladder rack this time around.

We usually put our kayaks on top of our Outback, but thinking about using one of these. About $60 at harbor freight or home depot.

TracRac with Kayak pads. Nice and light, won't rust and they look a whole lot better than your standard contractor ladder rack.

if you want to pull a camper, you don't have many choices besides a ladder/roof rack, like Thule Racks.

Op did you check to see if your new kayaks will fit inside your travel trailer? It makes life so much easier to throw mine in. I wrap them in moving blankets and stuff a few pillows around them to keep them from damaging anything.
