Gmc Denali cluster into silverado

Hi, 

 

 I just purchased a GMC denali  cluster that im going to use in my 2017 Silverado. I’m going to get it programmed by White auto and media . I saw on there website it said odometer lock removal .  I was wondering what that means ?

Odometers are locked by law.

if the cluster get plugged in to a truck without matching the vin first it locks it, wams has fiqured out how to unlock them

Yes. When you buy the programming it give you the option for the odometer lock removal.
