Swapping Sierra steering wheel for Silverado

Does anyone know if it is possible to swap a Sierra steering wheel for a Silverado? My GMC wheel is very worn and the buttons are very sticky.(I assume from someone cleaning it with something they shouldn't have). I can find plenty of Silverado wheels. I assume physically they will fit, but as far as the GMC air bag fitting and wiring being the same. Also, I assume non heated steering wheels don't have the heating element built into the wheel, just no switch?

The WT trim GMCs use the same wheel as the Chevy WTs. They are both the Chevy styling. They fit and work the same on all trim levels. Before you swap though, I would give it a good clean with a magic eraser. I made my wheel look new with one. The leather goes back to the matte finish like new and it takes all the oils and residue off the buttons.

I have a Silverado steering wheel if your interested in buying comes with clockspring has controls on it as well, just no heat button or the button above it I think it’s a collision button idk

I have a GMC wheel and clock spring if you are interested.  It took it off my 15 shortly after I got it and replaced it with a heated wheel.  I had the All Terrain so it has red stitching.  It's in near perfect shape.

i would try and see if the COlorado wheel fits , it's a bit smaller so faster turning and more knee room

I have run a GMC wheel in my silverado .... you can swap them back and forth the airbags are the same .

 

If all you need are buttons , then just swap out the button pads they come out from the front easy deal.

 

I have a left side button pad if you need it

The wheels are interchangeable but the silver trim piece pattern is slightly different shape and finish.

do the smaller wheels from the impalla , camaro or colorado fit our splines and connectors on the silverado?
