Oil

Why?

I’ve got an extra 8 year 100k maintenance and everything else warranty added. The cleaning and protective abilities of Amsoil are excellent and far surpass the oil used through the dealership, it’s just a little added insurance for me. The vehicle is going to belong to my 14 year old in two years when she’s a high school senior and it’s just a dad daughter thing for me and I just want to make sure it’s got the best fluids in it. Funny thing is that all I’ve ever heard about growing up was adding oil and fuel additives like slick 50 etc etc for better engine protection and performance, I’m just adding half a quart of the one stop shop lol

I even started adding 6 gallons of E85 in my non Flex Fluel tank per fill up just for cleaning purposes. Funny thing is that I wiped that nasty black soot on my tail pipe right after I filled up and one week later still no soot, looks like it’s working HA!

My granddaughter was over last night. The one that drives the old Chrysler 300 I mentioned when people talk trash about Chrysler products. It’s close to 300K. All oil changes at quick lube places. At various mile intervals. The only thing I can say for sure it wasn’t driven hard. I need to take a picture of that thing next time I see it.

I can honestly say that if I EVER have an engine failure which COULD’VE OR SHOULD’VE been protected by Amsoil especially since I change my oil every 4-5K miles and sometimes 3k, I’ll be their worst nightmare but first I’ll jump into a new Raptor lol

Peak Synthetic 0W20 is about $4 a quart at Blains Farm and Fleet.

Half the price of Mobil 1 and has a more robust add package.

How's that for Cheap and Better?

GM will most likely sell them the right to Buick, adding royalties to it especially pushing they MUST use DEXOS APPROVED OIL, lol

Not a thing. But, it is sad. Mobil USE TO BE "da cat". Now just overpriced 'also made'.
