I wish it was only $3. That's only 1 of the connectors. The kit comes with the switch panel, relay/fuse block and wiring harness.

Kit part number?

Got mines from Ebay. Here are 2 links I found them on. I purchased from 2nd link. Never installed mine since they only fit WT/Trail Boss model that come with key turn to start.

Hope it helps.

Ok, I didn't know this even existed until 10 minutes ago, when I found this thread.... I needs this like now, for my light bar and ditch lights I'll be ordering next month.

But I have a Trail Boss w/ keyless entry.

So after some quick digging, it looks like the console part that is in those eBay links is described here:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-knee-bolster-84487351/?c=Zz1ib2R5JnM9aW5zdHJ1bWVudC1wYW5lbC1jb21wb25lbnRzJmk9R0gxOTU1ODUmcj01JmE9Y2hldnJvbGV0Jm89c2lsdmVyYWRvLTE1MDAtbGQmeT0yMDE5JnQ9bHQmZT01LTNsLXY4LWZsZXg%3D

The above part stated as being:

Driver side, without keyless start, with aux fuse box, black

Here's the same part, but with keyless entry and the aux fuse box (assuming this is the cutout):

Atmosphere:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-knee-bolster-84487355/?c=Zz1ib2R5JnM9aW5zdHJ1bWVudC1wYW5lbC1jb21wb25lbnRzJmk9R0gxNDUwODUmcj01JmE9Y2hldnJvbGV0Jm89c2lsdmVyYWRvLTE1MDAmeT0yMDE5JnQ9bHQtdHJhaWwtYm9zcyZlPTUtM2wtdjgtZ2Fz

Black:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-knee-bolster-84487354/?c=Zz1ib2R5JnM9aW5zdHJ1bWVudC1wYW5lbC1jb21wb25lbnRzJmk9R0gxNDUwODUmcj01JmE9Y2hldnJvbGV0Jm89c2lsdmVyYWRvLTE1MDAmeT0yMDE5JnQ9bHQtdHJhaWwtYm9zcyZlPTUtM2wtdjgtZ2Fz

And then the Aux fuse box part is:

Black:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-multi-switch-84688687

Atmosphere (main diagram on Electrical Control Page has this as the part #; diagram on individual part page looks totally different, just FYI):

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-multi-switch-84688686/?c=Zz1lbGVjdHJpY2FsJnM9Y29udHJvbHMmaT1HSDE0NTI1NSZyPTYmYT1nbWMmbz1zaWVycmEtMTUwMCZ5PTIwMTkmdD1hdDQmZT01LTNsLXY4LWdhcw%3D%3D

This correct??? I have to go pick up my plates at the dealership tomorrow, I'll swing by the parts department and see if they can confirm.  This would be really awesome to have.

I know, quite excited about this as well!

There are a few additional parts needed. The aux fuse block you list above is actually the 5 button aux switch bank. Then there are a couple wiring harnesses and, depending on your truck, may also need an additional fuse bank added to your battery fuse box. There is a bulletin on the upfitter website, #47 I think, that shows this. Pretty easy to install. Will post pics when my parts come in and I have it installed.

Looks like the additional parts are:

Fuse Block Kit:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-f-block-kit-84669070

Battery Cable:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-battery-cable-84524205/?c=Zz1lbGVjdHJpY2FsJnM9ZnVzZS1hbmQtcmVsYXkmaT1HSDE5MjIyNSZyPTcmYT1jaGV2cm9sZXQmbz1zaWx2ZXJhZG8tMTUwMC1sZCZ5PTIwMTkmdD1sdCZlPTUtM2wtdjgtZmxleA%3D%3D

I'll definitely be going over this with my parts guy today... Probably blow his mind.  I hate that (that's not true I love it) forum members are more knowledgeable than GM employees.

I hear ya, its one of my biggest pet peeves.  Most of the people at my dealer are really good, but for some reason the parts people do not have a CLUE.  They didn't know this existed either & when i asked them to price it out for my 2019 new body style truck they were very confused between the 2019 new body & limited.  I actually printed the upfitter bulletins & parts diagrams out & went to the dealer to show them the parts etc..  Even now, they are saying this will not work on my truck & wont install it, which is why i am going to install it.  Very frustrating lol!

Looking over the uplifter install sheet.  Say the kit should also include a "electrical center/harness combination"... "For those vehicles where the switch bank and electrical center have been installed at the vehicle assembly plant the only components requiring installation are the power cable and fuse kit."

It looks like it's the part I circled below.  Any idea on the part # for this?  You order this?

Yeah, that link is on the first post of this thread.   Do you happen to know the part # for the "electrical center/harness combination" provided in the picture above?  That's the one part I can't seem to track down right now.

Never mind, I think this is it:

How do you know if this is needed or not though.  I would assume it is, if you're trying to reto-fit the aux switch bank into a vehicle it wasn't originally intended for.  Thoughts?

    • I just brought home a 2020 GMC 1500 Denali.  She has 53K miles on her and I want to change out the fluids over the next few weeks.  I see the diff covers don't have drain plugs.  Any suggestions where I can pick up front and rear diff covers with drain plugs?   Thanks,   Bob
    • Well, the dealership got the compressor and installed it. Air at the vents seems nice and cold as it should be. The service manager said the repair has a two year warranty and unlimited mileage. Hopefully I don't have to use it. The dealership i went to was one where I bought my 2014 half ton silverado. In 10 years and 168k miles on the truck anything I needed done and two small recalls they were always very good to me. Not a huge dealer either. I think they treat people well because they want you to come back. I have dealt with a different dealer that was too big to care about an individual. Just my two cents.
    • Hi All, I operate my 2021 3500 SLT most of the time with the tailgate off and in a crate because I have a slide-in camper. However, at least once a year, I take the camper off and put the tailgate back on. Recently I installed the tailgate, but had a hard time getting the connector bail to swing to the fully latched position. The connector seems to fully seat, and everything works, but the bail doesn’t swing to fully latched position.  It swings almost there but stops and I am afraid to push it any harder.    Does anyone have any advice on cleaning or lubrication or anything else I should be doing?  i know how to properly operate the connector. During the time the tailgate and connector are off, i have a double plastic bag over the truck connector secured with rubber bands to keep it clean, but it still had some dust in it this time when I blew it out with compressed air. I didn’t want to spray it with anything other than air without doing some research. Thanks.

    • Hello @jaszr2 Do you have a link for the item? I put a replacement bumper on my truck and consequently had to relocate the shutters. I studied on them a while, and figured if you left a couple key blades, you could get most of the airflow with probably no throwing codes.
