Disabling automatic on headlights

Anyone know a simple way to disable the automatic on headlights on a 2017 1500 W/T ? They are constantly coming on when I leave the doors open to hear the radio.

Bottom wire on the dash mount sensor when unplugged the headlights are off. But there must be a better way....

Flip your nob to the off position and it disabled them for that cycle.

Or, if it's not raining, maybe just roll down the windows?

Pull the knob assembly out and remove the spring that keeps it in auto on. 15 minute job.
