The front passenger side dash, where the plastic window vent meets the soft rubber dash isn’t flush. Anyone have this?  It doesnt stick up too much but it drives me nuts on a new truck.

Mine fits similar to yours. Not to hijack your thread, but is anyone else's wood trim fitted very unevenly?

On all 4 of my doors the trim is fit tightly at the front of the door and looks like it's coming off at the rear. It's driving me nuts. I've tried to mess with it and see if it's installed incorrectly or not pushed in but it seems to be attached correctly. I plan to mention to dealer during first service but want to know if this is normal or not. It's an August 2019 built' SLT. Pictures attached.

Thanks,

Drew

Same here. I don’t really object to the design or function of the interior, even if it’s not fancy. But the fit and quality of these parts is atrocious. And it’s becoming quite a rattle trap.

What’s worse, almost every piece of trim my dealer has had to remove in various warranty repairs over the year broke in the process. Both fuse panel covers have broken clips, the trim around my seat has a broken clip, the hole plugs on the assist handles needed to be replaced, etc. Fighting to get it fixed. And of course you can blame the people working on it, but I have never seen plastic break so often and so easy, especially on parts that are supposed to be removed occasionally like fuse panels.

I just had my center console and section of my dash out to install the autostop eliminator and nothing broke.  ?  So, I'd say it's definitely the person doing the work and not the panels themselves.
