Ok its pretty obvious how to shut traction control off, as well as stabilitrak. Is there any way to keep it there? I drive through lots of snow and a lot of the time a good spin helps me get to or out of where I need to be. It seems though even with everything shut off something is happening traction wise with a good spin. It doesn't sound good either, a bunch of clicking and what not behind the dash. Is that the brakes being applied maybe with the stabilitrak re-activating on its own? It would be nice to control the spin myself and not the computer. I was in auto when I noticed this, maybe this won't happen in 4x4?

An one push of traction control switch disables engine traction control but brake traction and stabilitrak are still on, press and hold for 10 secs disables traction control and stabilitrak.  Stabilitrak turns back on for speeds above 35 mph.  This is the case for all 4wd modes except 4low.

The cycling noise you here is the ABS module building and/or dumping pressures to the needed brake corner for stability or traction control.

Even with the system completely off, driveline protection is still active so you will have some brake invention if side to side or front to rear wheels are not spinning together.

After holding the button for 10sec is there any indication of it being disabled?

A light or a chime?

Seen plenty of videos of guys wiring a switch to the fuse panel to switch off the ABS to deactivate stabiltrak when needed. All of these trucks are previous generations. Any one know what fuse would work or have tried this on the T1?

I am curious as well. It used to be fuse #3 abs pump fuse on my 2014 and my 2016 2500. I just ordered a new 2021 At4 and will be looking to disable it on that truck too.

Hi guys

any update about disabling stability control and not engaging again at 35??

I searched a lot between time to time to check if there any solution, there no fuse for the traction or abs, the fuse controls the entire brake system, fuse number 24(EBCM) electronic brake control module, I removed it and the brake was soo weak, tried once to unplug the sensor on the hub while I was off-roading, the traction, stability, abs… dash indicater came on, i think the traction control system went off, but the issue was I couldn’t drive because the 4 x 4 was disengaging, high, low & auto, selecting a mode again and after throttle 2-3 seconds the rear tires spins and the 4 x 4 disengage again, so I plugged it back again, didn’t try it on road for donuts😅, that was a try to see if this method works so I can make a switch, but it didn’t 😔. I had 2011 and was so happy with it, on road off road, but this model took from me the fun I used to do.

thanks guys

hope someone will find away to do it
