Valant effort by Phillip Rivers. But a GREAT QB can't fix a broken defense. That defense couldn't stop the JV squad. What happened to them? I don't watch many Colts games but I tuned in for Rivers. Always loved this guys heart and performance.

I just wish they would quit giving so much coverage to it/her/them. NFL is just using this to try and suck in more fans. Eventually she'll kick him to the curb probably.   Good for Travis ge

Try as the might the Zebra's couldn't be bad enough to give the Ravens the win. That no call pass interference that injured the receiver was unforgivable. Pat's response was brilliant. Mike Vrabel has got himself a squad there and they a coach. Drake is pretty good too. :) 

 

Other news. Gardner Minshew needs bubble wrap. His O line has given up and he is in a tough spot. He to good to be treated with such disrespect.

That could be true, but I've never been to Arrowhead Stadium.  

 

This is what was reported in the StL Post-Dispatch:  

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday they will leave their longtime home at Arrowhead Stadium for a new, domed stadium that will be built across the Kansas-Missouri state line and be ready for the start of the 2031 season.

The announcement came shortly after a council of top Kansas lawmakers voted unanimously inside a packed room at the state Capitol to allow the state to issue a little more than $2.4 billion in bonds to cover about 60% of the cost of the new stadium, a new training facility and retail and entertainment space.

The bonds will be paid off with state sales and liquor tax revenues generated in a defined area around it.

“The location of Chiefs games will change,” Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said after the meeting, “but some things won't change. Our fans will still be the loudest in the NFL, our games will still be the best place in the world to tailgate, and our players and coaches will be ready to compete for championships, because on the field or off the field, we are big dreamers, and we're ready for the next chapter.”

The Chiefs intend their $3 billion stadium project to be built in Kansas City, Kansas, near the Kansas Speedway and a retail district known as The Legends. The area includes Children's Mercy Park, the home of MLS club Sporting Kansas City, and Legends Field, the home of the Kansas City Monarchs minor league baseball team.

The Chiefs also plan to build their $300 million practice facility in the Kansas City-metro suburb of Olathe, Kansas. They've committed to at least $700 million in other development.

I don’t love them moving to a dome. Part of what made KC such a tough out in the playoffs was the January weather. You’d get fair weather teams like the Dolphins come in there and just get worked. 
 

But money, and I’m sure hosting a Super Bowl in the future is a consideration. As it sit’s there will never be one in cold weather but the dome can equalize that.

After the Lions loss, BOTH #1 seeds from 2024 are eliminated from the playoffs altogether. Things turn quick in the NFL and turning for the worse happens even quicker.
 

Lions had a super tight window and blew it against the niners two years ago…

After watching the Seahawks dismantle the 49'ers last night I don't think it will matter who wins the Bears/Rams game. 

 

Texas and the Pat's ought be worth a watch. Either is a match for the Bronco's IMO. This pot needs to stay on simmer.

I don’t watch Football until NASCAR and baseball are done for the year. This year my interest has peaked mostly because of the Texans. A long standing Super Bowl party celebration has been a tradition at my house. An end of a season event. I don’t host anything in the summer. The Seahawks were impressive. The Bills were a disappointment. Did the referees determine the outcome. That is a spit decision. The Texans game will probably come down to how the offense plays. That seems like it will be a toss up. Like usual.

Man, playoff CJ Stroud has been hard to watch.
 

Can’t get an easier path to the Super Bowl in the AFC. Only Jarrett Stidham standing in the Pats way now. 😂

Texan's implode. Bears choke. Denver breaks a leg and Rams have a solid chance having spit a pair with the Seahawks this season, both games two points or less. Pat's look like they matter to a three legged horse.

I was actually impressed with the Bears overall. Caleb didn’t have a great stat line obviously but some of that is on receivers dropping balls. He’s got the big plays all day at least. And their defense looked surprisingly great.
 

Rams do have a better shot against the Hawks than Bears would have though. Much cleaner and more efficient team. Whoever wins that matchup likely wins it all two weeks later.

Every once in awhile I watch a team do something incredibly silly. Like Buffalo firing Sean McDermott. 

 

Weird final four setup. Lot's of late drama. Kaleb goes full rookie on his final play of the season. Rams win a game then should not have. Bronco's loose there top gun and are starting a guy who hasn't had a start in nearly two years. Seems reasonable to me then the Seahawks and Pat's are the final pair and if they are my bet is the Seahawks take home the cake. IF however, on the odd chance the Ram's win then the Pat's will as well. Yea, I'm not thinking the Bronco's have a chance in this. But if they do the Seahawks will make them wish they hadn't and a Broncos Rams match I might not even watch.

      I have a Retrax pro that I first had on my 2020 chevy and transferred it to my current GMC.  It stays in the garage most of the time, so hard for me to judge it's long term weather resistance.  It still works perfectly, been very durable.  It doesn't see oil patch usage, but it's not a mall queen.  It keeps most things mostly dry (small leaks) and the security of it is enough to slow someone down but not keep them out for long.  I would buy one again, it works for me.

      Thanks to the convenience of Amazon, I was able to get a few things done to the truck today.  I installed Carquest Premium oil and air filters with five quarts of Mobil1 High Mileage 10-30 along with a quart of Pennzoil Platinum 5w-30 I already had.  The latch for the flip up center console lid was broken so I replaced it along with the power mirror switch.  I found my push retainer assortment this morning and reattached the plastic under the bumper and it was only held on with a few screws and retainers.  Then I programmed a new remote keyless entry fob so I can lock my dog in the truck when I take her out with me (I've got to keep the air going for her since it's been in the 100s).  Finally, I ordered some LED interior bulbs and replaced the reading lamps.  The front lights are working fine while one of the back lights only works intermittently and the other not at all.   While under the truck, I found the source of at least one of the noises: the sway bar links need replacing.  I ordered a set of Suspension Dudes links with Code Red bushings.  Never heard of them, but they're made in the USA and have decent reviews.  While making yet another Amazon order, I went ahead and added a set of front tow hooks.  I went with red, since that's the color of the sway bar link and bushings and it should look decent enough on a black and chrome truck.  Speaking of which, it doesn't bug me much, but the passenger side mirror has a chrome cap while the driver side doesn't, so eventually I'll make them match one way or another.  Oh, and I ordered a $20 TPMS reset tool.  No idea if it will do anything for my sensors but it was cheap and will work for the Ford Transit Connect as well.     For tradition's sake, I ordered a new oil change wrench.  I kept the Snap-On 9/16"x15mm GM wrench I bought when I was 18 in the 2006 GMC from the time I bought that truck until the truck was lost.  While I was tempted, there's no need to spend $80 for a new SO wrench, or even $50 with shipping for a used one on Ebay.  I just bought a Duratech 15mm extra-long ratcheting wrench to do the job as needed.  It works, and if I like that wrench enough, I'll buy the set.

      The recall is for exactly this issue - those drain holes combined with the limited environmental capability of the tailgate electronics card inside the tailgate were a problem. The “safety issue” was the potential for the tailgate to spontaneously open, but all kinds of tailgate misbehavior can occur from water contamination of that control card.    There is no real fix yet. The initial recall just disabled the tailgate. Later, when parts became available, they would replace bad parts with new parts of the same bad design. My dealer is going nuts because the few times I let them get their hands on my truck, my tailgate is off due to a slide-in camper installation. They really want to cut my tailgate wires, but I won’t give them the chance. I will let them get their dirty hands on it when a real fix (redesign) is available.  My tailgate, which works just fine with sealant plugging the drain holes, will remain safe in a dry storage crate until then.

      Yes your absolutely right, I been looking at the 4 inch BDS one and it acutely states you can use the stock 20’s just not the 17’s or 18’s, I also didn’t realize that with my 275/60r20 stock wheels I’m already running 33 inch diameter wheel setup lol so I can just run my stock wheels and tires atleast to start.

      I would expect that to be lift-kit dependent.  If the kit has interference issues w stock wheels, then the kit/manufacturer should indicate that somewhere.
