Electric Cutouts are still a thing.

I've got QTP on my Trailboss. Quiet on start up and in the neighborhood. Hit the switch and it turns loud and gurgles down the road. I paid $250 for the kit and $35 to have the cutout welded on.

I'm surprised more people don't consider this over a muffler delete. A manual cutout with 3 bolts seems like a better option, you can at least cap it and still use the stock muffler.

Reminds me of the old days, back then they were called "dumps". Required you to lay on your back, remove 2 of 3 bolts and loosen the 3rd holding the dump plate and let it hang. These were done on true dual exhaust setups, and were really, really loud, especially on those running headers. Electric cutouts sound much easier.

If you're on Facebook, there are several groups dedicated to the 2019 and up Silverado and Sierras. Maybe you can try there?

It’s on the 2019/2020 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra group now posted in the comment section of Daniel Pillow’s “Let’s see them cold starts...” mines listed as the Borla Pro XS Muffler
