From the Johns Hopkins data provided. Deaths / Recovered = 17.6% or roughly 2 to ten die. I don't know where 1% is coming from other than the press.

From the Johns Hopkins data provided. Deaths / Recovered = 17.6% or roughly 2 to ten die. I don't know where 1% is coming from other than the press. 

Watch a presidential press conference. There daily. The doctors are right there with the president. So it’s not just him. Even the governor of New York were its the worst is optimistic.

Your right. My bad.  I should have added deaths to recovery. Deaths + Recovery = Whole. Deaths / Whole =15% roughly 

I have no idea where 1% is coming from other that the media. 

 

The only numbers that will be valid are those that are confirmed and COMPLETED to death or recovery. Anything other is a guess.

Sorry to derail, but I work in the aerospace industry and the reason that advice is given is so that the individual doesn't pass out from lack of oxygen while fighting with someone else's mask. If YOU can get your mask on, you can put the mask on for someone next to you who may have lost consciousness.

The doctors that are standing next to the president. He was advised in the beginning 3-5 percent. Why we’re shut down. It’s around 1 percent now. May get under that. Man you scared the sh!t out of me.

I think that’ll bare out. When the experts are saying 3-5 percent deaths to the president What can you do? So they own it now. They have to ease us back. Yes it (is) was media driven. That will bare out too.

I'd like to see the data sets he is working with. Sounds like SPIN. OR some isolated environment.

 

Figures don't lie but liars use figures. 

 

I'm working with WORLD PUBLISHED numbers. That's the entire data pool. He might be using the stats for Montana.

The doctors compiling US stats they’re not political, that are working with him. There’s a separate one for New York where it’s the worst now. Watch fox news for a bit. The stats are on the screen.

I know which are just a couple.....After it's all said and done probably be .5-1% MAX MR in layman's it would be a Nasty COLD but not what the MEDIA has portrayed this....Most of all the Data is skewed and current numbers of reported positive cases in USA really means...5X that number HAVE,HAD the cold.

I’ve been reading some of the headlines on the rescue stimulus. If true the dems have inserted a 600$ a weak additional bounce to the unemployment benefit. That’s means some lower wage earners would make more staying home. Some employers could lay off workers and give an under the table bounce to work. If true what the hell is the matter with them? It was on the daily caller a usually reliable source.

I have seen a lot of commentary on Canadian tv pointing out that when stuff like this happens it shows that we need manufacturing back in North America and not in all these shit hole countries. If our economies were stronger we would be able to weather a storm like Corona better. Thanks to the lefties like the Clintons and our ahole Liberal party in Canada, we are on the damn near on the soup line now.

I’m republican. Clinton was smart enough to lead by poles. He worked with congress had a balanced budget. He didn’t muddy the waters and change too much that was going right. Basically he was there for the money after being president. Our economy couldn’t be stronger thanks to Trump.

The figures from Johns Hopkins are factual data.  When you start extrapolating or estimating you nullify the validity of the statistics.

      I'm tangentially aware of what Harley used to be, back in my riding days, although I was into Italian sport bikes. Ducati seems to have gone the other way; still very expensive, but they've made a large subset of their bikes a lot more reliable and accessible, and they've diversified their lineup to include other riding sports too. IMO, a good example of where greed and growth might have also been beneficial to the consumer.   Although GM is charging a relative premium for its most popular pickups, I find that there are some excellent value propositions in its lineup as well.   The Colorado still strikes me as the most attractive midsize on the market, and also the most reasonably priced given capability and features. There's a part of me that wishes I would have bought one instead of my Silverado.   The Equinox ...I must be getting old. The ICE equinox is a great design IMO. Probably because it reminds me visually of an actual SUV aka an S Blazer. Underneath it's nothing even remotely close, but it LOOKS good. It's got all the modern features plus some at a very reasonable price. If I had to run out and buy myself a daily commuter to do everything except tow, an Equinox would be on my list.   It does bug me that mid-tier 1500's reach into the 50-60k range, and Tahoes and Burbs are even more expensive. Less than 10 years ago, dealers were sitting on rows of Tahoe LS and LT's for low 40's. You could even still find Tahoes with a front bench, still!

      Big oil is raking in billions from the Iran war. Can it avoid Trump’s fury?   Remember I said Big Oil is 'Vertically Integrated"?   Even as they no longer own the majority of the "Pump" they still own the "Well". Crude price upward pressure does not translate into that same pressure on production. Pumping cost remain unaffected and the gap is pure profit. Even after subtraction of a minor, comparatively, lower amount from supposed, but not always, realized refining volume. Consumers hate war, Big Oil, not so much.

      We live in a world where the average person expects more. People say wages and our needs are farther apart. My first new home had 3 bedrooms and one bedroom. My first car and truck had what would be considered a stripped or work vehicle. In my neighborhood back then there were more homes like that and cars too. Middle managers and second home buyers worked their way up to the fancy houses and cars. Car loans were 3 years. GM had different models of cars for different income levels. The cars were pretty much the same size if you wanted a big vehicle. The nameplate designated the opulence. Chevy, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile and Cadillac.  To be fair some of the cost is government mandated. We can’t blame them for giving us what people will pay for. Careful advertising steering people towards more profitable SUVs and trucks. As I learned recently a minivan is a cheaper more efficient form of transportation. Certainly easier to live with. Somebody realized the profit margin wasn’t as big and gave it a soccer mom label. So it lost its coolness. They’re making it the masses are buying it. You hit your hand with a hammer you can’t blame the hammer.

      Hi All, I’m In need of advice regarding a scan result on my 2023 Silverado HD.  The Sensor Supply voltage relay states ON But…. the following 3 tests show Malfunction. Sensor supply voltage relay control circuit HIGH voltage Test status- Malfunction Sensor supply voltage relay control circuit LOW voltage Test status- Malfunction Sensor supply voltage relay control circuit OPEN test status - Malfunction. No DTC codes are stored. No DIC Lights. Remote Key Fob has been giving a few issues, namely Vehicle will not respond to an Open/Lock command from the key fob. New batteries installed to FOB made no difference, plus on one occasion recently the vehicle unlocked using the Fob, the vehicle started normally via the push button, then a random warning came up on the DIC stating the Remote Key was not found, all this while the key was located next to the central cup holders. Does anyone have any input or advice regarding this scenario? TIA
