Did you know CNN pays the airports to carry their feed? Kinda like Impala and rental cars, police cars. It counts.

At the end of the day the president was elected to make decisions, not Anthony Fauci. End of story.

You are absolutely correct, the buck stops at his desk.  But all good leaders surround themselves with the best experts in their respective fields.  All we can do is hope that he takes the advice of his experts and makes the best decisions with that information.

Fox News it at about 2.4 million, MSNBC is about 1.8 million, and CNN 1 million.  I like to think of it like this, MSNBC and CNN are reaching the same audience kinda like GMC and Chevy both selling trucks, and Fox News is Ford.  In the end, they all get the same amount of viewers.

The problem is that it is CNN MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC all with the same anti Trump agenda. Also those are the networks that people can get for free via OTA antenna. So for those folks there is only one side of bias being presented. Fox's ratings go up every time the other side cooks up a new scandal just like Trumps approval numbers.

Must be something in the water. This time of the day we go off topic. I know I’m guilty too. We’re going to hear about it if we keep going. The presser getting ready to start. On fox anyway.

Trump is obviously much smarter and more calculated than he will ever be given credit for. I feel totally comfortable with him at the helm of our country and I'm glad the buck stops with him. He was never a politician yet he rubbed shoulders with all the lifelong political hacks and knows more about them all than they would like. Imagine having a leader of the country who belongs in a memory care facility (Joe Biden) that would be a terrifying set of circumstances.

shockingly today NBC is the only local OTA channel not airing the briefing. Glad Trump is calling out the Crooked WHO as I type. Looks like they won't be getting the 21% of their budget from the US anymore. Watch for several other countries to follow suit.

Nevermind, all those networks dropped the briefing, total horsesh*t.

I knew it was coming I’ve been reading about it. Finally calling out the WHO for downplaying and hiding the problem in China.

Don't know the diabetes or high blood pressure spin yet.

The African American community is that spin, according to Fauci.  That community has historically had those issues and they are really getting hit by the virus.  I'm seeing big death percentage numbers for that relatively small community.

That’s why New Orleans may have a big problem. The population has lots of overweight, high blood pressure, diabetes problem. They mentioned that about a week ago.

Australia has been very vocal this week condemning the WHO as well, there is a petition going around in multiple languages calling for the WHO director to resign.

I’ve been on it a couple weeks and been chastised for it. I’m retired, I read everything. I want to know. Simple as that.

I’ve read blood types react differently to it. Amazing.

    • The guy that owns K&P filters last I checked in with him has over 300,000 miles on his Dodge base Hemi using his own 35 micron absolute stainless mesh filter from its first oil change.    The GM study I've posted a dozen times shows the relationship in engine life based in multiples of base units, not miles or years. That is the base unit is the number of miles the motor ran using the reference filter efficiency.    The above two paragraphs dismantle anecdotal arguments IF one changes oil often enough to prevent particle formation and the motor is in otherwise good shape. That is not full of silica (no air filter) or suffering a metallurgical issue that is not part of the lubrication discussion. Poor heat treat in example.   Data from UOA's I've reviewed from more than a few engines can show remarkably broad variations in oil cleanliness using the exact same filter over the course of an engines life.     Lastly there is the common sense of it. Wear debris WILL circulate the engine BEFORE it ever sees a filter in route to that filter and WILL harm the pump which NEVER sees filtered oil.    Alpha question then becomes, given the facts, how long do you believe is a reasonable service life from a vehicle you are certain you will not pass down? That is the junk yard will be it's resting place when you're done with it? (the moral issue most don't care about).    Omega question is then how diligent are you prepared to be in general mechanical, air & oil maintenance? Preventing particulates and keeping them sufficiently dilute; preventing the precursors from generation, amalgamation and precipitation.    If I get a good look at the engine bay of a vehicle I have a fair idea of the owners commitment to the inside of the power train. That 30 micron WIX is still more efficient than a sieve.
    • It also depends on what criteria someone is using for “best” when talking filters.  Are we going off best efficiency?   Best quality/QC?  Etc. because the two may not mutually exclusive.
    • They’re not the same wiz as 10-15 years ago.  QC has fallen pretty hard.  The XP line was never good though in the first place.    https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/wix-filter-rusted-through.386492/post-6991372   https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/i-ve-used-my-last-wix-filter.27299/   https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/looking-for-a-better-replacement-for-wix-51258.403977/   https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/convince-me-in-using-the-purolator-boss.401537/post-7420147   the forums are littered with posts and examples of not great wix filters the last couple years

    • I'd guess that it's because they are Mann-Hummel filters since about 2016, they own Wix and are mostly all made in China now.
