Dem governors will be doing everything in their power to continue lockdown even if Trump lifts the national recommendation after April 30th. I'll play nice for the sake of everyone until the end of this month, but after that life must go on. Anyone who thinks politics aren't involved are just in denail. The outbreak is what it is, but the Dems will use this to try to influence the election, but it won't work because their Candidate isn't even alive.

Yeap,  I'll be going to work on April 30th. I'm a seasonal business and it's time to get going.

Let me make this personal so I don't hurt no one's feelings or appear cold.  But if I am dying from Covid 19, don't try an unproven, suggested C-19 drug on me without knowing the possibilities down the road.  I look at it like this, I'll deal with the devil I know vs the devil I don't.

If I could get my hands on that malaria, lupus drug as a preventative I’d be taking it. I’ve taken it for a trip to Malaysia. My daughter has lupus she’s on it. It’s been around for ever.

that's always been the choice that you have with your doctor. You can't get prescriptions from politicians. What unproven drugs are you talking about?

Yeah I'm with you on lupus and malaria, medical community already ran that up the pole.  Not so for C-19.

you mean you don't make 6 figures typing on your computer from home like everyone else wanting things to stay shut down forever? lol....If any of those people actually worked for a living they would be singing a different tune. We all have been to quick to surrender our rights and freedom, that is really something to think about right now.

Trump is not even going to let go all the way to the 30th!  Many areas will be opened up and RIGHTFULLY SO!  I never could have imagined how ridiculous this country has gotten..JUST SHEEP THE WAY THEY WANT YA!

 

Anyway....after this CHIT SHOW ABATES....TRUMP WILL BE TAKING more states RED and DEMS are just gonna be beside themselves!  We finally get 1 baztard who is not a politician fighting for AMERICA at every turn.....and what does he get in return?  A freakshow of accusations every morning!!!!!!   He tweets people so nobody can construe his words deal with the tweets....Heck there is much I don't care for about him but in no way shape or form would I want any other USELESS<SCUMBAG, POLITICIAN running the country that CRAP IS DONE!  LOOK AT BOTH PARTIES.....SHELL SHOCKED get those ARSE CLOWNS OUT OF THERE!

Amen brother, this is exactly what the country needs. Pride for America and patriotism. Trump embodies that and is much more relatable to regular people. I have my critiques of him as well, hell I don't think any elected official should even use twitter. I never liked his ridiculous Apprentice show and have never seen it. He has proven to be exactly what this assbackwards country needed when we needed it the most.

Never has made any sense to me either. Plenty of Americans treat their pets as good as or better than their children yet we do business with people that would effectively like to eat our children. Beyond head scratching. To be clear I have nothing against Chinese people in general and I don't necessarily think that the ones that are US citizens eat dogs, but as Joe Biden says...."c'mon man, what are we doing here"?

      I have the same running boards on my truck and I do agree they are bulky. I also find myself stepping over them when getting in and out of the truck. Besides providing protection to the rocker panels, they aren't very useful.  I will be replacing them soon with the Amp Powersteps.

      Thanks newdude!  By the time manual selection is needed, I'm probably too much of a control-freak to depend on the transmission sensing braking to activate automatic downshifting.  I would be anticipating the situation and already be manually downshifting.   This truck replaced a 2004.5 LLY diesel with the Allison 5-speed.  Putting it in T/H made noticeable differences (when the torque converter locked, upshift points, downshift behavior).  On this 2024 gasser with the 10L1000 I haven't been able to detect much, if any, difference.  Ok, I can never tell now when the torque converter locks up.  But I also don't notice differences in shifting.  For downhills, I've probably already manually downshifted by then anyway.  Since it's also more awkward (than the 2004.5) to engage/disengage I don't even bother.  Or maybe it doesn't really matter with just a 3k lb. camper in the bed?   Thanks also for the list of reasons the charging system might select various voltages.  However, what I am seeing doesn't fall into any of those categories.  It very definitely, and very consistently, rises after coasting/braking.  Maybe not immediately, but not very long after coasting/braking.  Very consistently drops voltage when no longer coasting/braking.  It might also be interacting with the camper battery charging (I might disconnect the camper and see if it changes the charging behavior).  I also need to recheck turning on headlights for when I want to force it to charge the camper.   Another JR, in June I converted the camper to LiFePO4.  Since it's not a good idea to try to charge lithiums directly using truck, I installed a Victron Orion XS DC-DC charger (which BTW is AMAZING!!).  Being cheap, I only had to buy that one item (besides the battery, of course) to do the conversion.  The camper OEM 120v battery charger (only 19 years old and works perfectly) and the truck feed the input to the DC-DC charger (not at the same time).  But I didn't want the camper charger feeding back to the truck so I kept the old separator.  I considered replacing the separator with a 30amp diode but that means more work and might add another 1/2 volt drop.  One thing that surprised me was the voltage drop over the long 10awg wire run, so I can only charge smoothly at 8 amps (because the DC-DC charger is completely configurable).  Another reason I don't want an added voltage drop with the diode.  I might also be a little lazy but all this work is being done under the sink with a small cabinet opening.
