Resetting drivers window daily

Almost every day I have to reset my drivers window for the auto up feature. I get the message open and close window almost every day. Is the switch going bad or is this a computer memory issue? Thank you for your help.

This happens when you lose power. Is your voltage dropping down too low when you start the truck up that it may be resetting the BCM on you? I would check that out just to see if your battery may be on it's way out.

Have your battery checked out/replaced.

 

The life span is short, and yours is coming up on two plus years old. 

 

When they go bad, the electronic Gremlins start to show up.

Not to sound like a broken record here with ground G141 but I would check it's connection to the body/frame.  I'm not exactly sure where it is but it is one of the two main grounds from the battery.  If you look at your negative battery terminal crimp there will be two black wires extending from it.  One is G103 and the other is G141.

I just replaced the battery a couple of weeks ago. I just reset my window when I come to work in the mornings, since I have to roll down my window to show my badge at the gate.
