Husky Liners

I am thinking about getting husky liners for my truck...weather is getting kinda nasty down here and I had 5 people in it over the weekend...all dragging their wet, dirty shoes on my tan carpet (I have the factory mats down, but they don't cover the hump in the middle back. A few questions about the Husky liners:

 

1. Does the color match? Meaning are the shades of tan the same?

 

2. Do they cover all the carpet? Ex. : The edge of the carpet right against the plastic piece that everyone steps on when getting in the back?

 

3. Where is a good place to buy them?

 

4. What did you pay?

 

Sorry this is a lot of questions...there are hundreds of places online that sell them and I don't feel like looking through all of them.

My 95 Tahoe had them when I got it. I really liked them, the color matched very well and they held whatever got into them. My GF spilled a 12 oz. can of coke in the floor and the mat held it until I could stop and dump it out. Got home and sprayed the mat off ..... good to go. If we had snowy weather much here I would buy a set for my 99.

I have a set of front and rears. Paid around $50 for the fronts, but not sure on the rears, I got them as a Christmas present from my parents.

 

I'm really happy with mine. They do cover alot of the floor. I can't remember where I got the fronts.

Husky Liners work well, and are very durable. I've used them in three vehicles, and will likely choose them again. I bought the last set here:

I've also used the Nifty Products Catch-All liners, and liked the product. Don't think they hold quite as much mud/snow, and they're a little rigid to work with compared to the Huskys. However IMO, the Catch-All liners dress up the cab a little more (not a factor for me).

they work well, ive had them in three vehicles as well, i got the front rear and center hump in all trucks. tan matches well, paid like 40 for them or so...

They come in black, grey, and tan (I have black)

I got the front ones at http://www.basspro.com. I got the rear ones locally. I waited almost 2 yrs before getting the rear ones (dumb move)

 

4. What did you pay?

 

I paid $49.99 for the front and $49.99 for the rear. Beware since i have bought mine i have checked all over and the cheapest i found them (not on sale) is $54.95

I have the gray ones and love them. I would not be without!!

 

As far as pricing, I shopped around pretty good before buying. Everyone was priced about the same, within a couple bucks, so I bought from a local store and saved shipping costs.

 

Husky Liners are the best!!

They are well worth the price, great for mud or snow, they will keep your truck looking new inside.

I have the black in my 99. Theey keep the carpet dry and clean. I have an underseat storage box in the back, so I use the regular mats back there.

I have the Tan ones in my truck, they match perfectly, clean up easily, very durable. I too wouldn't be without them! Chris

Just get the cheapo catch-alls from Wally-World. They will do the job just fine.

 

I just don't see the sense in spending over $100 on floor mats.

 

But thats just me.

1,the light gray matches perfect, dont know about the tan

2,yes they cover all of the carpet

3,I got mine on-line sorry don't remember the name of the place but shop around

4, again can remember exactly but I think it was around 60 for the fronts and the same for the rears

 

 

I really like them they catch all the water and sand/dirt and hold on to it defiantly think they are worth the $$, the drivers side is looking kinda worn after 2 years and 50k miles, I will probably get another 2 years out of them and have to replace the fronts, I don't get many passengers and almost never anybody in the back ( A.K.A coat/tool/grocery storage area) they of course look brand new

 

 

I have seen the catch-alls in a denali and they look beter (because they are carpeted) but in my truck that would be stained carpet so the vinyl huskies are a better choice

I have the black ones in my Av and have put them in all my trucks for a number of years. They have a couple of problems: when the front mats get really wet with snow and muck, the water can collect in the outboard rear corners and overflow onto the carpet; also the rear mats can get caught on the front seat tracks and get skewed out of position. However, I like the open, easy-to-clean design without carpet or ridges.

Funny that you mention the underseat tool box. I have a MTX Thunderform sub box under the back seat (it fits the same way as the tool box)...will the husky liners not fit in the back? From all the pictures I have seen it looks like they go under the back seat a little bit which wouldn't work because the speaker box would be in the way...is this correct? I really want them only for the back seat, so if they won't work oh well!

the husky's go all the way to the back under the seat and stop at the base of the shelf where the jack and tire tools are mounted, depending on how much the speaker box can be lifted they might be go underneath the box?
