ECMatt90KW Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 2019 Sierra AT4. This started last week. Anyone have any ideas?
bdsilverado Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Same here. I tried every password I can think of. Wont go away.
SuperDuper Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 What worked for me was logging into the myGMC/mychevy website first as I needed to change my password there. After doing that, my truck took the newly changed password and I haven’t had this screen pop up since.
BamX31 Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 What superduper said. You can not do it from the app. You have to go into the actual website and change your password to make it work.
killramos Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Been in a Ankle cast for 3 weeks and my truck hasn’t been driven, wife Drove my truck on the weekend And it asked for the password. Maybe it’s just periods of inactivity? I think it has done this once before.
rikhek Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Piece of garbage infotainment system. I've done every "trick" suggested to resolve this password issue to no avail. The "Do Not Remind Me Feature" doesn't work. My radio intermittently outputs/plays music from two different sources at the same time. It shouldn't be this hard to get a functioning radio. I'm getting a new one installed Friday under warranty but I SERIOUSLY doubt any changes have been made to improve it over my current radio. Just absolute garbage.
Black02Silverado Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Just think. All new vehicles are going to be like this since they will eventually get over the air updates and will need you to log in to do so. Oh technology at it's finest!

I'm an analog guy living in a digital world...
HubcapCharlie Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Same issue with my 2020 Sierra SLT X31. The message keeps coming on even when I push the do not remind me. Showed the message at the dealership when it happened and was told to read the owner's manual.
