Different color hood hinge bracket and bolts ?

I purchased my truck brand new, it’s never been wrecked. When I first bought it I had the dealer remove clear coat runs in the jams. I recently noticed on the passengers side (door open- behind the fender) the bracket that that mounts to the A Pilar that the hood hinge is white. Then on the drivers side the bracket is painted but the bolts are white. My truck is a metallic graphite LTZ.  Can someone else look in their door gap to see if this is normal?

My passengers side looks just like yours. Never noticed that before and I keep my jambs clean. Drivers side is body colored.

Thanks ...when I noticed mine, I’m guessing they changed design at factory.

Normal. I remember this coming up awhile back and folks thought it had to do with the radio.

Passenger side is normal, have not heard of the drivers side having different colored bolts, that is a new one.

There was a thread about this a while back. Lots of people have a white or completely bare metal passenger side hinge. Mine is bare metal. The driver's side bolts is new to me. Weird, isn't it?!?!

If different colors show up, could these have been salvaged from that train wreck?

My 2017 CC is the same way.  Its not white by galvanized steel.  Just a production anomaly.  Just means it was not on the body when it was painted.
