onstar and navigation

I just bought a 2020 Sierra SLT and it has navigation. Do I have to pay for the Onstar turn by turn once the trial is over or will I still have navigation without the option of Onstar sending it to my truck? I could care less about having OnStar find places for me. Thanks!

The embedded navigation will still work fine without Onstar.

Sweet! Looks like I'm only gonna be on the hook for the 15 a month to remote start from the app. It's worth it to me for when I get off work in the mornings.

Not wanting to highjack the thread, but I'm a little confused with the onstar thing. Do you get "Connected Services" even after the trial is over? Or is it completely dead if you pay nothing and hold no subscription?

After your trial period negotiate the remote start. It can be had for 8 to 9 a month by buying a year subscription.

My trial is over. I get a monthly vehicle status report and that is pretty much it.

Just call them and say you would like to keep it but it’s a bit expensive. Any deals? How about if I pay yearly? They will give you some special.
