As of today 6100.  Love the power and the growl of the motor, it sounds like a truck....LOL. Least favorite, sensor issue and now problems with the navigation system.  Should be scheduling an appointment with the dealer first of next week.  Almost forgot, love the MPG!!!  Average is about 7MPG over my last 5.3.

Im at low end with 4,000.   MILEAGE totally impressed.

Previous 6.2L ...  for my driving style, power difference is not even noticed/missed.  Tows like a champ.

Thank you guys for your replies. I’m looking at picking one up myself when the 2021 come out. Curious what your payload is on your trucks as well. Will be pulling a small travel trailer between 18-22’.

I got mine Feb 27th and I'm at 10700 already. Best thing I like, the fuel mileage, the least thing, The lack of power on the top end or the ability to do any mods. That's a little unfair tho as I came from a procharged, headers back exhaust, fully tuned 6.2 with about 10psi of boost.

My 2020 Silverado LT Crew Cab Z71 Short-bed inside door sticker:

GVWR: 7200

Curb Wt: 5478

Payload: 1722

GTW: 9300

Max Tongue Wt: 1080

Pulling a 23' travel trailer of roughly 5000 lbs with tongue weight approaching 700lbs is very pleasant. Just get a good weight distributing hitch.

I bought mine on Feb 7th with 20 miles on it and now I've got around 16,500 miles.   It tows my 30ft toy hauler and 15ft enclosed trailer great, drives smoother than any other truck I've owned (and I owned a 2018 and 2019 F-150 before this), and gets really good fuel mileage (even after a 6" lift and some 35's)!   The only problem I've had with it was at about 2,500 miles one of the trans lines disconnected from the cooler.  All the dealer did was reattach the line and top of the fluid and I've had no problems since!  I love this truck!

Here's my sticker as well:

-2020 GMC Sierra Elevation X31 Crew Cab Short-bed 4x4-

GVWR: 7,200

Curb Wt: 5,562

Payload: 1,638

GTW: 9,000

Max Tongue Wt: 900

Bought my Sierra 2 weeks ago. I have just over 2000 miles on it. 1000 miles of that towing a 30'  6,800lb Travel Trailer.

Sold my 2.8L Duramax Canyon and 6.7L Cummins Ram 3500. This truck is the perfect compromise between the two.

Getting 28mpg unloaded and 12MPG towing.

Anyone with a GMC getting less than 30 mpg on the freeway? It seems the Chevy's do better by a few mpg due to their design upfront and overall packaging of bells and whistles.

Did a vacation trip of 1,700 miles, wife an I with basic travel things, 700 miles on it when I started trip. First tank average speed 70-80mph 27.1 mpg. Second tank probably driving was a little bit of everything mph wise saw 29.2 mpg. Read that the Chevy does a little better mph wise was going in that direction until this AT4 showed up. Picked it up last week in May and have a little over 3,000 miles on it, towes great so far.

Nice! I really like the aggressive stance of the AT4s. But I'm not a fan of the fancy tailgate, ha ha. Sorry, just can't do it.

Thanks!

I really had no desire to get into a GMC when I started shopping wasn't a fan of alot of things with them, I was originally after a Chevy RST, but saw this on a lot and just seemed right so it came home with me. I didn't think much of the fancy tailgate either at first but I really like it so far and it has come in handy and the wife enjoyed it on the stops on our trip.

Have you noticed it catching water? Also, curious to know what your payload is on your AT4.
