TBI to carb conversion 1995 sonoma v6 4.3l

I'm planning on doing a carb conversion on my Sonoma from the crappy tbi setup. I have picked out most of the parts I need but I can't find a good fuel pressure regulator. Since it's tbi the pump only outputs around 13 psi and I only need to step it down to around 7, Would I need a return style regulator when dropping only 6 psi? Or does the stock pump have a pressure release valve to release the excess back pressure from the step down? Any helpful information about the conversion would be nice. I also have Vortec heads on the 95's V6 not the stock pre-vortec heads if that makes any difference. I have everything picked out except the carb and regulator, if anyone has ideas as to which carb and regulator I should choose let me know.
