Transfer DIC To new another truck?

Hello, this might be a newbie question, but... Is it possible to transfer the DIC from a 2003 Silverado to a 2005 Sierra?

Your guess is as good as mine. These days, automakers make NOTHING easy, so I would doubt it.

 

What I would do is go to an OE parts site, and check the part numbers of those components between both years. If any of the part numbers are different, they probably won't work together, and won't have the correct connectors.

If you're talking about the instrument panel cluster, the answer is no. 2003 is different from 2005

Thanks txab, You are probably correct,although they look the same from the driver's seat.
