Anybody come up with a graphic or decal to put on the hood on the trim piece where the diesels get the allison logo?

What about using two 6.2L emblems to make one 6.6L emblem.

Not a bad idea at all

I've been wanting to do this too. Hate that blank plastic piece. Do the GMC's have a badge for the gas motor similar to the duramax badge? Wonder if it would work on the Chevy hood.

I dont think they do, They run similar fender badges I think. I do like the idea of making a 6.6L badge from 2 6.2 badges but the . is attached to the 2 so would be tricky. I know I had some custom badges made for my 2010 camaro by a company, not sure if they are still around but might be an option there

I tried the Vortec MAX emblems, but the edges kept curling up.........however, they did look good!

Not sure how I feel about these yet, but I wanted to try something so I ordered a set of 71-72 C/10 "8 400" badges. I cut the studs off the back, filled with epoxy and used 3M double sided tape to stick onto the molding. Could have just used the studs but didn't want to drill holes in case I end up not liking these. GM Part #3980000-400.
