I'm expecting delivery of a 2021 Sierra 2500 soon and looking for recommendations for a hard tri-fold bed cover? Not wanting to go crazy on price so what is the best bang for the buck? I've always had an open bed with a tool box so I know absolutely zero about bed covers.

Thanks!!!!

When I was looking I couldn’t find a tri fold for an HD truck. They were all quad fold for anything over 6’ box. I went with a Retrax rolling cover as I didn’t like how the folding ones worked anyways.

I went with the hard tri-fold from Rough Country and have been very happy with it.  The price is pretty good on them too.

I went with a hard rolling cover and i am really liking it. Can do it with one hand, and still utilize the full bed, and not block the back window!

I am going through this same thing right now.  I wanted a BAK MX4, but noticed some Black Friday deals starting to pop up.  Real Truck and Tonneau Cover world has the Undercover Ultra Flex 10% off for $890.  They also have a $100 mail in rebate which makes it $790.  That is about $200 off and a pretty good deal.  I ordered one yesterday For my 2500HD.

I have 2 buddies that have had this cover on their Ford and Ram trucks and they have been great and are very nice.

Please update how this cover works out, if you havent seen the thread the Bak MX4 currently has a design flaw where it doesnt rest on the cab when folded.

I don't like the tri folds.

I went with a Back flip 4 fold on my 2017 3500 HD. I pull a 5th wheel and I can open 3/4s with the 4th still laying flat and still hook up my 5th wheel when towing.

Well.....  At the last second I went to order and the sales changed and I second guessed the MX4 due to fitment issues.  I ended up with the Undercover Ultra Flex.  I ended up getting it 15% off plus $100 rebates on Cyber Monday.  All in all, the cover is $989 and I paid $840 delivered, plus $100 rebate or $740.

I installed it tonight on the truck.  Too dark to take pics.  This is my 4th cover and this one is probably the best.  Fits like an absolute glove and very high quality.  Carpeted underside, very good looking in the truck.

I am guessing it is very close to 100% water right, but we will see.

I will snap some pics tomorrow, but so far I would highly recommend it but time will tell.

Does it rest against the cab when folded all the way up?

Does not lay up against the cab.  However, I can have this cover removed in about 2 minutes.

I had that cover on my F250 and it was great, and dry!  HAs anyone found a good solution with the multi pro tailgate to keep water out?
