There is a 21 AT4 at my dealer with 20" Territory AT tires on it.

EDIT:  Those might be Trailrunners

Yeah, those are the standard Trailrunner ATs that have come on the trucks since they debuted.

I stand corrected. Wonder why they dropped in size? Maybe that’s all that’s available in that tire model? Seems odd that the factory lifted trucks have shorter tires than my normal 4x4.

This is why I was curious to see them in the real world. I assumed GM would pull this.

The Territory tires on those 2022 TB spy shots look more like 34" to me. So maybe in 2022, they beef them up to a more legit off road tire.

I just don't understand why GM would move up to a 20" wheel and retain a 32" tire on the Trail Boss. Why wouldn't they just keep the Trailrunner ATs as the option if they were going to do that, like they have on the LT/RST/LTZ 20"?

The black 20" TB wheel looks better, for sure. But that tire needs another 1-2" on it, IMO.

Yeah. Funny because the 2021 20” wheel appears to be the same exact casting as the hideous 2019-2020 Trail Boss 20” wheel.

What a difference changing the color made. But changing the tire size still makes no sense.

No lie here! I have seen MAYBE 2-3 TB's with this wheel on them here in DFW. And they are fugly.

I actually think they wouldn't look AS bad with a beefier tire around them.

And I'm pretty sure there's a sales correlation here for AT4 buyers. Those who want the 20's over the 18's would never buy a TB with this wheel... hence they just buy the AT4 instead. My head was in that space when I was considering what to buy in early 2019.

I've gotten compliments on my 20" wheels numerous times since I've had my truck, but I prefer the look of the 18's with the beefier tire. The tires they put on the 20" wheels for an All Terrain model are wimpy looking. But, it rides good and it's quiet I suppose.

Here is the combo in a Sierra 1500 AT4 with carbon pro. Love the ride, excellent traction and low noise at highway speeds. Low speeds, very loud especially at speeds below 25 and it actually gets more quite when speed increases. Strange. At low speeds, sounds like a bad wheel bearing.

I finally got to see a set of these tires in real life on an AT4 today. They look so much better than the Trailrunner / Duelers, IMO. They do look a little skinny, but that might be because they shoulder is more aggressive looking and "squared". I like them.

My '21 LT Trail Boss came with the 18'' rims and the Duratracs. Found a guy who wanted to trade his 20" with the Territory MTs.

The Territory MT doesn't look as "beefy" or aggressive. They are quite a bit quieter than the Duratrac's though.

I do like the appearance more the than the Duratrac's, but to each their own.

👍🏼 Yeah, I’ve been seeing more and more TBs and AT4s around with the Territory tires lately. They look much better.

I think they look great for a stock combo.
