Why does GM continue to not offer deals or incentives to current GM owners who are and have been LOYAL to GM?

I get the deals for non GM owners to pull in new customers but seriously, where’s the loyalty?

I’m ready to buy today. Maybe I need to move on to the other side.

Incentives change every month and your local dealership will find out what they are only a short time before its public.  Also, incentives are often different for Chevy Vs GMC.  GMC pretty much always has $250 for returning GMC and Buick owners...but not if you have another GM brand.

The $3000 is actually $2500 for everyone plus an additional $500 if you use GM financing.  Then there are usually other incentives that apply only to certain groups.  For example I got $500 for being retired military.  The point is, they change regularly and sometimes you have to dig for them.

Usually it is like another $500 or so if you own another brand, it isn't much especially in a $50kish vehicle. If you are complaining about $500 and going to switch brands I don't know what to tell you other than you might need to re-evaluate some of your life choices...

Wonder if country boy ever bought and what brand?

Incentives are for the cars that are still sitting on the lot.

My Chevy dealer that has been in business since the 1950's

had around 20 new cars on their lot last week, and all of them were plain jane boring cars.

They usually have three different lots filled with 100's of new cars.

Deals on what. Here in Michigan dealer have very few cars and No trucks to sell. My dealer usually has 120 trucks on his lot. I was there on Tuesday they had none, zero not even a standard cab.

If you’ve bought a bunch of trucks from the same dealer, they are the ones who should open the pocketbook a bit to keep ya around. Kinda how I worked my latest deal under tight inventory.

Figure you’re a very small number to GM. At least to a dealer you’re a measurable percentage of their sales.

Bought my Sierra last month and did it with GM Finance to get the $500.  But the rate was nearly 5%.  No need to overpay on the interest rate.  In the end I got the $500 deal reduction and promptly paid it off with my credit union loan for 1.9% less than a month later.
