How many times have you replaced the center console lid?

The lid cover for the jump seat console thing. I guess I have oiley ass elbows.

Yeah, same here at 80,000 miles, no replacement.
I do keep a cloth in the truck in case I've been getting rather sweaty while working on the truck or some such other activity and I need to drive the truck somewhere.
I just place it under my elbow on the center console.

Hit it with some leather cleaner like 3 times in 1 week. Leave it sit there for a few to let it draw the oil and stuff out. Try to have sleeves down or something in the meantime and it'll go away. You won't have to replace it all the time. Mine gets really bad when I don't wash my upper forearms after a day in the dealership.(Lube rack guy and now apprentice)

I cleaned the hell out of it and it was good for quite a while until I didn't bother to clean my truck for 3 months.

Throw a towel over it. 

 

I've kept my seats covered with mechanics covers and towels for the dog since day one. Still looks like new inside at 133,333 miles.
