That's a lot of money for almost nothing "tuning" wise.

I could see that as something for people that lift the trucks, want different tire pressures and want auto start/stop and DFM off. Otherwise it does zero actual tuning to the engine programming.

Too bad the driveshaft will have the ability to explode above whatever the current limiter is set to.

I am looking at this anyone have experience with this?

Well for starters...its not a "tuner".  It can change a few options/settings and throttle response but that's about it.

There is really no "tuners" on the market for these trucks.  A modified ECM from HP Tuners and 10 credits is the only way in that I know of and that runs about $2000 to get to a point in where you can modify anything.

Exactly...

WAMS does the best customization (including nixxing the speed limiter) but I know he's been having trouble getting the product out.   I wouldn't pay a dollar for Pulsar personally

So you have one and love it that is good news what exactly do you love about it? Have there been any negatives or issues? My truck runs ok but definitely needs a little help with the throttle response, dealer said all is ok when they went through te truck twice.

It does exactly what it advertises to do and I've been happy with it.

The throttle response can be set on the go using the cruise control buttons. I keep mine at 3-4 depending on my mood. I feel it does a good job helping the truck "feel" more responsive. It does this by keeping the truck in a good (better) spot on the power band. Doesn't give you any extra power but the truck has plenty enough for me.

DFM and auto start/stop disable works seamlessly. Raised the speed limiter even though I don't ever drive that fast. I had the Range DFM and Pedal Commander, was just about to pull the trigger to do the auto start/stop thing in the console when this released.

Install was plug and play with good instructions and pics. Youtube has a few videos if you get stuck.

All in all, it may be a little pricey for what it is and people's opinions may differ. For me, it makes my driving experience just that much more enjoyable and was well worth the investment. Let me know what other questions you have. [emoji106]

Why do you state that?

Any information about it?

Why would the driveshaft "explode" based upon where the speed limiter is set?

Thanks

Driveshaft failures are common when speeds exceed 100-110mph. The aluminum driveshafts will come apart and when they do they tend to take other stuff with them. Like sheet metal, fuel tanks, transmission cases and or the transfer case.

They set the speed limiters based on things like tire ratings, gear ratios etc and they make sure the driveshaft can handle that limiter speed setting. Going above that is the unknown, things can break there.

Makes a custom driveshaft sort of a no brain event, eh?
