AirForceAngler Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 A product called Fluid Film is very popular with the Jeep crowd for prevent corrosion.

I don’t know from experience but I have read that fluid film doesn’t play well with the factory coating gm uses. You can buy aerosol cans of the factory coating from the company that makes it, Daubert Chemical. https://www.daubertchemical.com/store/product-list/corrosion-prevention/nox-rust-x-121b 2

I used it to coat my plow in the off-season. It still looked new after 5 years. I've seen complaints about what it does to other surfaces such as rubber. I don't think I'd just go to town spraying my entire underside with it. But some people who run old plow trucks do coat everything. I also think it does not play nice with the noxrust coating though. 1
OnTheReel Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 You can still use the Fluid Film (or cavity wax) in the rockers and fender lips. But I would stick to just touch-ups on the frame with the Daubert coating. I did it for years and the frames always looked pretty much like new.
