2022 2500HD LT DIC audio menu

Hi Everyone,

 

New owner of a 2022 2500HD LT with Duramax. My driver information center only has 3 menu options, Home, Info, and Options.  No Audio or Phone.  I have the 4.2" DIC option and the 8" Info Center on what Chevy calls the Midlevel instrument cluster.  Anyone else have only these menu options?  I've looked at all possible settings and can't find anything.

Let me ask it another way. Does anyone have the 4.2" DIC and have the Audio and Phone options?  Thanks.

I don't have the option either in my '21 2500 LT. If I'm not mistaken, I believe you have to have the upgraded radio in order to have that option. The standard 8" LT radio (IOR) isn't really much more than the radio that comes in the WT models, just with a larger screen. I believe you need to have their HD radio (IOS) at a minimum to get it and I'm certain their premium radio (IOT) has it.

Thanks Josh!  I figured it was something like that but the RPO codes don't go into that detail.  Bummer, because I hate flipping between CarPlay and Audio to figure out which Favorite I'm tuning into.

Oh I agree, I miss having that basic feature. I was like you and had assumed it would be there since I had the 8" radio with the DIC, but the more I looked into it I learned it isn't available on my truck with the radio I have.

Even the WT system can have a phone connected.

Perhaps it doesn't show until the truck knows about it by Bt pairing or by plugging it in?

Thanks redwngr but I'm paired and plugged.  If you look at IOR, all those features are available through buttons on the steering wheel. I just don't have them showing in the DIC.  I think it's the "in-vehicle apps" feature in IOS that covers the options being available in the DIC.

you have to get convienance 2 pkg (chevy) or preferred pkg (GMC)

 

i had it on my LT2500 with conv 2 pkg but not on either my RST or Elevation that didnt have those pkgs

 

you need the premium infotainment.....and yeah i kinda miss it

 

radio and phone can be controlled thru DIC with conv 2 pkg......not on the std conv pkg
