2000 GMC Sierra 1500 dash reset?

So I was doin some maintenance and replaced my battery when I jumped in to redo my settings i noticed my speedo is maxed out . Is there a way to reset my dash? I tryed the turn ignition on tap gas 3 times to the floor but nothing happened.

Ok so removing the fuse dident work. Resetting the gauges dident work but what did work to reset the gauge was too remove positive and negative terminal and ground them together then the gauge reset

And you reset your oil monitor with the 3 depresses of the gas pedal, if I remember correctly.

Yes it reset the oil monitor.

 

I go in every time i go on a trip witch is about every 3 weeks so that monitor doesn't do me any good I am quite ****** about maintenance. Just wish this truck dident have so many issues after I drove it a while and the codes reset -_- .... Jokes on him tho wasent a blown head gasket was a bad oil pump lol

Dude. The speedometer is the least of your problems! Your entire instrument cluster is upside down !! Never seen that happen before.
