favorite tonneau cover for GMC Sierra AT4

my order just got excepted by gm and I did not get the factory tonneau cover, so I have a little time to research and what is the better place to start than here, so what is favorite tonneau cover on the forums , post picture of what you got and give us you likes and dislikes.

My favourite has been the Xtang Xceed.

- Seamless matte black vinyl covering Aluminum panels.
- low profile & Looks great.
- 500lbs distributed load on top.
- Water tight. 

- secure, locks with gate. 
- one hand open. 

- it’s tri-fold & can secure closed, 2/3 open, and fully open. 
- full tailgate operation even when covered.

 

I’m moving to a bed rack though, so I’m actually selling mine to make room for something else. But hands down my favourite so far. 
Retrax XR is next, but so so much more expensive!

I have this one. I really like it. Wanted one that was light and easy to install/remove so I can take it off and load my dirt bikes. This one is perfect.

Saso - just went through this last month for my new 1500. There are so many out there, I ran through questions to narrow it to a few brands

1. Do you want soft of hard top?

2. If hard - folding or one piece?

2a. If folding do you need full bed access (flips up in front?) or not?

2b. do you need a roll up hard cover?

3. what side profile are you looking for? flush or not?

4. What colors, materials or protection are you thinking?

I am sure there a plenty smarter than me here who can add on

BTW - I went with the UnderArmor ArmorFlex and really like it

Ordered it through Chevy accessories. You pay them. They deliver it to the dealer and you pick it up from them.

I have the LoMax, which may have been dealer installed for the first owner. The back two panels fold, but if I need the full length of the bed, I have to remove the cover. Some of the other options out there will fold up against the back window. Not a big enough deal now for me to spend the $1,000, but if I were ordering new, I would spend the extra money.

I have a soft cover OEM mopar on my ram right now and is plenty good for me, do gm offer a soft cover as OEM part ?

I have the Bakflip MX4 on mine and love it. Its a hard cover but so far no leaks and it looks great.

The one I posted above is the “OEM”. If you build a truck on the Chevrolet/GMC website  it is an option under the accessories tab.
