where is my truck build in USA OR MEXICO ?

so I know the ram1500 is build in my home town of Sterling Heights Michigan, but where is the SIERRA 1500 AT4 CREW CAB BUILD ?

In both the USA and Mexico.   1st digit of VIN = 1 USA Made;  1st digit of VIN = 3 Mexico

 

RAM is also built in Mexico.

Oshawa assembles some chev 1500's

 

Flint assembles GM 2500/3500.

Oshawa assembles some chev HD's

 

Ram build 1500's in Sterling Heights and builds 2500's in Saltillo

To add, 4 & 5 are also signifiers of U.S. assembly. All GM full-size trucks use 1, 2, or 3 as the first digit of their VIN though.

and the first 3 make up the WMI  - world manufacturer Identifier
