I'm not sure if anyone else here is ordering a 2023,  but pricing was just released a few days ago.

 

There's now a $905 onstar subscription "built in" to the build.

a few other things are slightly pricier,  but overall it made the MSRP of the truck go up about $1200. This particular build is a 2023 AT4 with 3.0 duramax, premium and tech package, sunroof, and illuminated GMC emblem.

I've been lucky enough to find a few dealerships relatively close to me(I'm in Houston, Tx) that will honor supplier pricing,  but i ended up placing my order out of Idaho with courtesy delivery to a local dealer.

Stupid pricing on these vehicles.  Congrats on your truck when it gets delivered. 
 

I just read an article where over 13% of new car loans are 84 months and $1000 or higher per month.  🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

it's not going to be sustainable.  Ford and Stellantis are already starting to offer incentives for vehicles.  I assume GM will follow suit soon.

 

I'm hoping to see a decent chunk of incentives towards the end of the year when,  hopefully,  my truck will be delivered.

I’m hoping so too. I just can’t believe how “some people” have been paying way over MSRP for these things. It’s like they have this itch of “I can’t wait”!!  
 

There was a ZR2 on cars.com a month ago for $84k!  It sold in 2 days. Blows my mind people would pay that!  But then again that’s why so many are going into default right now and the housing market is seeing foreclosures creeping up. 

 

 

my last 3 trucks I’ve bought have had incentives of $6k plus 0% interest and the other two had $12,500 off.   Hopefully with some new leadership in few years. Things can get back to some normalcy 👍🤞🤞

A lot of the dealerships in my area are tacking on $5K-$20K for "market adjustment." I cant believe people are willing to pay the extra. You would think it would hurt sales and the OEMs would call on them to stop but sadly it just keeps going.

I see $5k to $7k off of Chevrolet Silverado in Oceanside.. Ford F-150 is being sold for $10k to $20k above MSRP. None are being discounted around here. I ordered a 2022 Ford F-150 Lariat and it's already had two price increases from $71k to $75k, my price is fixed at $63k. I was able to get BlueCruise while Chevrolet could not order one with SuperCruise for me so I switched over to Ford. I wonder how many more price increases will occur by the time I finally get it. My price won't change.. and my Chevy Silverado RST is being traded in for more than I bought it at in 2019 (it has only 9k miles on it so it's barely driven).

That's pretty sneaky of GM, people won't pay them $50 a month for onstar so they just force 3 years of it onto the vehicle options/fees.  I guess at least you get it for $25 a month instead.

I'm assuming that's for an LTD and not the refresh. Even so, that's a good deal in this market. Market adjustments are still rare, but you aren't getting anything for less than sticker. 1-2-year-old used trucks are still being advertised for their original MSRP or more in most cases. Some in demand vehicles are going for way more. Somebody mentioned a ZR2 at $84K. There are multiple listed online for over $90K right now. There's even one at a whopping $107K.

That's what I'm looking at right now.. it's a refresh. They are very reputable; I bought my new 2019 Silverado RST 4x4 from them at their advertised price of $10,000 below MSRP using the same website. It's not Chevrolet giving discounts, this dealership has been giving great deals for as long as I know. Strangely, a used Chevrolet Silverado will cost you more than a new one.

When I bought my 2019 at $10,000 below MSRP, there were used 2019s on the lot with less options that cost more.

This is what I don't get. $1,000 a month? The author of this article clearly talks to stupid people who buys Nissans or cars that depreciate.

This is PRECISELY why I have been buying new trucks since 2012! I can get them at $10k off MSRP, pay it down with monthly payments, and then enjoy a robust resale value when I trade it in. 2016, my payments were much lower, so I put quite a bit aside every month. By 2019, I bought it in cash, didn't need to finance.

In 2005, I had an Audi RS6. In 2008, I had a Benz E350. I was so pissed, I kept getting further in debt when dealers paid me pennies for them, they weren't cheating me, that was what KBB said.

It's ironic, my neighbors think I'm filthy rich because I keep buying new trucks in cash. No, I'm just smart.

The 21 Sierra (that had issues) that I traded in for a 2022 LTD Silverado has been sitting on the lot since they got it. They are asking over $59K for it. The MSRP was only $57K when I purchased it. Why they would assume people would pay over MSRP for a used vehicle is beyond me.

I almost pulled the trigger on a $65,000 Sierra Elevation, but the price difference monthly was a lot more than my current. So I decided to take that difference, and build out my current 20'. I wish one day these prices would be a little more affordable. I'm seeing rates starting to fly on Loans (5-6%)

It’s been awhile I know. In 2014 I paid 27K for my deeply discounted Texas Edition GMC. That same truck is in the mid 50K. There’s no way. My wife’s Genesis a 2011 is 10K more as a replacement.

$1500 on sle,slt and elevation I believe, AT4,AT4x and Denalis are "only" $905
