I have a new 2022 Silverado 1500 Custom with 300 miles on it. I have noticed at slower speeds and while driving on uneven ground and turning, a clunking noise from the rear of the truck like a loose spare tire. I have checked the tire and it fine. The truck is fine driving forward and reverse on level ground. Has anyone came across this problem and if so how did you resolve the problem? Thanks Noise Driving me Crazy.

Mine, 2022 LTD LT, does the same thing and this issue seems to be well known caused by leaf spring noise. Service Bulletin No: 19-NA-129. I complained of this to my dealer but they said "unable to duplicate", although I always hear the noise when rocking my truck side to side. Please refer to the links for the details. Pretty disappointing 47K truck has noise on every bump.

Every GM truck I have had since 2014 develops the leaf spring "creaking" at slow speeds, uneven ground. I think 3-4 trucks total. Thankfully the new 2022 Refresh I got doesn't do it.. yet... it only has 1K miles.

so the tech bulletin on my 2022 3500hd calls for a retorque,  generally hear it in the driveway at low speed,  had it to the dealer,  pic of when i got it out,  claimed they had to clean and use wheel bearing grease per tech support.

the specs are small stones and dirt now stuck to the springs, and noise has not changed at all.

the white speckles are stones

I've had this same problem with my 2022 LT for 6 months  now. Took it to dealer, they greased the leaf spring sliders and the noise has been eliminated. It was extremely aggravating. I feel like this is a band-aid fix but we shall see as time goes by.

I just started having this noise at 7500 miles on my 2022 AT4 Sierra and my local dealer said they know there’s a problem but when they contacted GM for the warranty repair it was not authorized. The dealer said GM doesn’t have a fix for at this time and this was just last week. I’m in love with my truck but this whole BS about not fixing something under warranty makes me want to sale it. Any help from GM would be appreciated

@GM, I email like you suggested and pretty much got the same run around from y’all I got from the dealer. One blames other and other blames other and then say truck is operating as designed. I had already had the rubber leaf spring isolators replaced FYI about a week after my original post and it fixed the problem. You would think that when a Truck cost half of a small house it would go with sounding 15 years old when it’s not even a year old. Not to impressed with GM warranty or customer service as of now. I just feel bad for the people with 100 miles and it’s doing the clank. Love the truck but not the warranty honoring by GM

I have a 2023 LTZ with under 600 miles and I heard this driving thru a pot holed parking lot. Truck is very quiet on smooth roads. I guess it's a trip back to the dealership.
