The ineptitude of some of these people that work at the dealerships is ridiculous. My first '24 I ordered in the Lakeshore Blue couldn't be built in that color because apparently GM didn't have the paint code finalized, although they let me build & order it in that color. Anyway, the guy in charge of the orders didn't call me to let me know that the blue wasn't available yet, instead he took it upon himself to order it in white. He could have taken 5 minutes out of his day to call me & discuss it, but he never. There were other color options I probably would have been satisfied with, but white wasn't one of them. I made them re-order it in blue and was able to get it the way I wanted the second time over, but had to wait an additional 2+ months.

.

Yeah, sadly it seems like 90% of the dealers out there are like this. Luckily my GMC dealer was great beginning to end (salesman is an old car buddy of my dad). I originally wanted Thunderstorm Gray, but he told me right away I'd have to wait at least another 5 months so I ended up getting white. Now that I've seen Thunderstorm in person I wish I could have been more patient, but that's another story...

its funny. I sort of wanted white. But between it being a "free" color and without delay it feels like 70% of the 2500s I see on the road are white. Ruined it for me went with titanium rush metallic

I haven't seen a Titaniun Rush in person yet, but in pictures it looks like a really cool color when you can see the blue/purple in certain lights.

we'll see soon(ish) hopefully lol.

I love the look and low maintenance of white.

I love the look of black but too difficult to keep clean and scratches easy.

I dont like silver. I like dark gray though. I had a satin steel metallic 1500 that was sexy.

Didnt leave me a lot of options....honestly the color options on the current 2500s is lame.

The 2023s had a cool green I would have done but they did away with it for 2024.

Truck has arrived in Denver. Currently sitting at the storage lot awaiting transportation by truck to the dealership. Roughly 55 miles to the dealership. Hopefully, I get it in a few days.

You'll never want another 1/2 ton again after switching to an HD. I kind of look at them as a car with a box compared to the HD's, a HUGE difference.

Looks tight! How much room you got in the front?

Looks like it's about a 20' deep garage, or it has some work benches built on the back wall!

Congrats!  Probably just the scale of the photo, but that garage door looks tiny.  Good thing you did not get the ZR2, I don't think it would clear!

2024 AT4 HD, ordered Oct 5th and brought it home today. Already dirty on the ride home, winter in VT!

GM running boards and splash guards.

Adjusted air pressures to 60psi for all. Onstar shows orange for the rears but no TPMS error yet. If it does, I’ll change the placard pressures if the truck allows it with my Autel TS508.

Barely fits in the garage, can’t open the tailgate. A lot longer than my 2018 Sierra 1500 SLE Double Cab.

ARE cap gets put on next Friday.

    • IMNTBHO;  the worst thing for the 6L80 is to be lugged down to low engine rpm while in high gear......AKA, to save fuel.   I rarely use D on my '16 with the 6L80 and use M mode to keep engine RPM above 1500 at the speed I'm driving, which is also benefiticial for the tranny because line pressure is kept up because the pump is actually turning a decent speed, and it's not always hunting to drop to the next gear to lower the engine RPM's.   Never above 30mph.............M3, maybe M4 if just driving thru a small NoDak town Never above 40mph............M4 Never above 50-55mph.............M5   This is way better for the tranny and the engine.........especially if AFM is still active.   262K miles on my OEM 6L80 as I type this.
    • If they had nuclear material for "11 nukes" we'd have seized it.    Our military has been rendered either too weak/dumb to seize it, or they don't have it. Your pick,K-nut. Because right now we're fighting over who gets to toll oil tankers in the strait.    I hope you're man enough to admit you've been taken for a ride when it's finished.
    • I hope you’re man enough to admit that you were wrong when it’s finished.
    • And you're obviously full of it too.  Apparently anything he does is perfect to you.  Don't you think this whole ordeal would have been better if he had maybe thought it all through first before bombing Iran at the request of his bffs in Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar?  They are the ones that had the biggest issue with Iran.  Thus they have been pouring the platitudes and giving gifts/bribes to him.  Had he thought about the consequences of what would happen to the Strait before starting anything, we wouldn't have this issue.  Now he is stuck with no way out of this mess.  But you have your head stuck way deep in his rabbit hole to see anything else.  So no, I don't have TDS.  I see what he is.  The derangement is yours from no oxygen in the rabbit hole.
    • Bringing of the fact that every President has said the same thing. They can’t have nukes. I guess you missed that before epic fury they said they had enough product for 11 nukes and weren’t giving it up. That not political or polarizing. The opposition of that is and giving aid to the enemy. The mandate is decades old through many administrations. The difference is TDS.
