I guess if I went with 285 they wouldn’t stick out? I can live with just a slight poke. Hell maybe I will get some fender flares at some point. How far out do they stick out about an inch?

I think it’s less. I looked for a picture but didn’t see any I’ll get one for you in a day or so. My truck is currently getting some cosmetic repairs and new bumper installed so I’m in our 2500hd.

Sounds good. I think I’m just going to go with the 295 and call it day. I start looking into things and I just rack my brain to no end.

I have the Eibach Pro Truck Stage 1 kit set at 2-1/2” of lift. The tires are 285/65/18 on 18x9 wheels with +12mm offset. The edge of the tread sits flush to the tops of the fenderwells. A 295 on a 0 offset would stick out another 17mm or roughly 3/4”.

My next tires will probably be 295/70/18

Looks great did you have to install a rear block?

Thanks.
I replaced the stock rear blocks with 2” blocks. It has 1-1/4” of rake measuring from the ground to the tops of the fenderwells.

Great looking set up! I like that front bumper on your truck. Is that the stock set up for the 2016 Z71?  Earlier today I ordered up the Hankook's in 295, so no turning back now.

Question do you know how far your front sits from ground to the fender well? After making adjustments on my front coilover my front is sitting at 40'' from ground to fender. My rear sits at 38.25''. Thats with my worn out tires I should say. So, to get level I need to add another 2'' to the rear. What size of block do I need to get level? How big are the stock block on our trucks?

The front bumper had the plastic pieces removed and I made a custom skid plate to fill the center. I also replaced the flimsy plastic wanna-be skid plate/ splash shield with the aluminum GM skid plates.

My front measures 39-1/2” to the fenderwell with my nearly worn out tires that measure 32”. The rear fenderwell measures 40-3/4”.
The stock lift blocks measure 1-3/16”.

That is excellent work on that skid plate! Thanks for that other info. I will have to measure my rear blocks and see if they are the same. I am going to assume I will need to 3-inch block to get my rear level.

Awesome, did you adjust the eibach's at all? Just ordered the pro-truck 2R suspension. Is it hard to install a rear block? I'm going to install the coilovers myself, but wasn't sure about the rear. I have bilsteins at 1.85" that pretty much leveled my truck.

Mine are set at the lowest setting at 2.5”.  The Stage 1 kit consists of their shocks with multiple snap ring grooves like the Bilsteins to adjust the lift height. At their lowest setting with the stock springs, the ride height is stock. With the springs included in the Pro Truck Stage 1 lift, the lowest setting is 2.5”  of lift and the 2nd groove is 3.2”. They don’t recommend using the 3rd or 4th groove.

Rear blocks are easy to install. Do one side at a time to keep the axle from getting away from you and disconnect the shocks to allow the axle do drop away from the springs.

Gotcha I'll have to see what the coilovers do when I install them out of the box then adjust from there.

Hey I really like the look of your truck.

How is the ride? Like a brick, plush, better then the other lift struts that always get recommended?

I'm looking for something that will ride smooth.

Thanks

Need to order new TPMS for the new wheels. I know they are 315mhz. Anyone have the correct part number? When I look up on GM pats website I get this number GM 84413350. That doesn't seem to line up with all the numbers when I search other sites like tpms.com. I reached out to them to make sure I order the correct ones.

I have a friend that works at the chevy parts department.  I gave him my VIN and he gave me the correct part number for my TPMS.  I then found them on eBay for $40 for all 4.
