A lemon law lawyer filing on them will speak louder than anything you could say at this point. Document, document, document. If it isnt in writing they will say it didnt happen, nothing should be done verbally. 

I wouldnt expect anything from this dealer at this point, theyve already written you off.

Exactly why I am on my 2nd 3500HD gas 6.6 truck. I love the diesel power but I am tired of being a beta tester for GM while they chase emissions standards that are forever advancing.

The dealer sold me a truck that they owned, hence it the dealerships fault. I didnt buy a truck from GM because its illegal. I bought a truck from that dealership. So I will not just submit to the dealership and let them off without a worry. Ethics and morals would have the dealership put me in a new truck and then they deal with GM...hell even common sense would say that. Its sad people like you just bow down to the dealerships. The lemon laws should be change and unless people start complaining and having common sense solutions offered (like i just suggested) then nothing gets fixed.

Yeah I hear what you are saying. I actually traded in my 2017 silverado 1500 because it had the infamous torque converter shudder that GM didnt have a fix for. I think i finally learned my lesson of not buying GM anymore.

If you havent consulted a lemon law attorney in your state and followed their advice your just beating your head against an immovable object. The laws vary widely from state to state. In my opinion your angst towards the dealer only hardens them to your plight. I have been in your situation and the angst is counter productive. 

But I am just some random guy on the internet and you should instead listen top your attorney and following them.

In response to your other issue, not connecting with trailer. Please elaborate on that. Mine disables the trailer brakes. Of course dealer and gm “it’s your trailer”. But it isn’t. It’s an issue of the truck not working with electric over hydraulic brakes. I hooked to another trailer just like mine. Brakes didn’t work with that trailer either.

You dont need a lemon law lawyer; if your states supports it, contacting the BBB is all you'll need to do to get a response from the manufacturer (very quickly). I've been there, I've done that. It's sucks but it's a fairly easy process. You can try peeing in the wind with the dealer if you want but your not going to get anywhere, regardless of how you think the process should go.

They were fantastic with helping me. Ford responeded to the BBB and my claim in 2 days (this was a buy back of a '19 Shelby GT350). The BBB facilitated a resolution between us in the week following. But by all means, go spend money on an attorney first...

I am glad it worked out for you. Youre the first person I have encountered with that type of success. My dealings with them were exactly the opposite. My brother had a F150 in the 90's that Ford could never fix (it had a driveline vibration) and the lemon law lawyer was his only remedy. If your case is solid the lawyer takes his fees from the Company and not you.

Oh Boy......Sad to hear.  I just turned 1,800 mi. on my '24 Duramax. Saying prayers.  Yes the Lemon Law is on your side, on our sides. Go after it.  Dealer should have had GM get involved, rather than getting you more upset with a legal letter. Terrible decision on the dealers action, and lack of, for working on a resolve for you.

FYI, my '16 Duramax needed a new DEF sensor at 45k mi.
