Hey is anybody out there running 34” tires on a leveled Sierra 1500 new body style? I’m looking at putting on a set of open country at3 at 275/65/20. Any advice helps!

Do it.  You'll be okay.  I recommend getting a speedometer calibrator though.  Iirc, Rough Country has one.  There's also Pulsar.

I’m looking into this as well but not sure how it’s going to fit. I have a 3” front leveling kit with a 1” block and motofab UCA. After the alignment my right front tire ( stock wheels and tires) was rubbing ever so slightly at right turns. I took out the wheel liner: mudflap brackets to clear the rubbing. It’s close still but Im skeptical 34” tires will fit.

I was running 285/5022 Nitto TG's, 34.5” tire with a 3" rough country lift on my 19 High country with stock wheels. Only rubbed a tiny bit when backing up on full lock on the passenger side, I trimmed the mud flap a little on the passenger side as well. Otherwise never had an issue.

It sounds weird but looking at the picture it looks like the Chevy wheel well maybe wider than the GMC. This is what it looks like with the stick wheel/tire set up and a 3” level.

Now that you say it, I do recall others reporting the GMC wheel wells are smaller than the Chevys.

You need to pull the fender liner backwards with a heavy duty zip tie. Look at that older post I have linked.

Awesome thank you for that. My curiosity I went to another alignment shop and they say that when the alignment was done they set the caster in the middle of spec which is good but because of the lift is making it seem farther back in the wheel well and they can adjust the caster forward a little and won’t cause weird tire wear or pulling as long as the caster is even on both sides.

34” is a stock size with 20” rims. I swapped my 18” 2021 RST rims for 20” rims off a 2024 ZR2 tire size 275/65 r20 =34” height. No problems at all. Although I did test drive a truck with 285/70 r18 and it rubbed so bad on turns I didn’t want to drive it.

Wtf did you just say?  GM does not make a ZR2 with 20" wheels.  If the ZR2 has 20s then they came from the GM Accessories catalog.  I just looked at the build configurator to confirm this after your post made me go cross-eyed.  The Colorado comes with 17s.  Silverado and Silverado HD ZR2s come with 18s.  I'm also willing to go out on a limb here and say the truck you test drove with 285/70r18s wasn't leveled nor lifted, not even from the factory with the Trail Boss kit.  I have a Trail Boss LT without an aftermarket lift/level and running 285/75r18 with minimal rubbing.  OP wants to know if they should go with 34s on a leveled truck.  That's the question that should be answered.  34s won't rub on a leveled Silverado.

What's up everyone!

Just installed 34s (KO2) on stock chevy 18s. A few modifications and very little rubbing on full lock. Will have a video shortly on what was modified. @vcastilloaz
