I have a 2023 Sierra Elevation.  I am replacing the Bose premium speakers.  I went with JL audio for front and rear doors.  For the dash speakers, I am using Pioneer TSA-709  2.75" speakers.  They come with an in-line high pass filter (850 Hz and higher is the pass-through value).  Now, when using my Android Samsung S23 Ultra phone - I cannot hear any voices from the Nav or phone calls.     Before I take the dash apart  - would removing the in-line high pass filter fix the problem of not hearing Nav voice or phone call voices?   Thank you

Got the answer!   Remove the high pass filter if you use the Pioneer TSA-709 2.75" speakers.  Just finished. Blinkers work perfect.  Phone works perfect.  Speakers are great!

Take out the online crossover on the dash speakers and you should be fine. I have the same speaker in the dash as your and I didn’t use the crossover or bypass and they work fine.

I'm about to do this exact install on my 2020. Good to know about the high pass filter removal. My question is did you use the wires right there in the dash or did you you run new wires and splice into the door speaker siring? I read some comments on a youtube video that said you get better sound if you tap into the door speakers.

I used dash wires and it sounds so much better. Not necessary IMO
