Aftermarket 4 Ohm replacement speakers for the Bose "Imposter Quality" speakers. I posted elsewhere, the door speakers have Cheap Paper Cones, in a High Humidity Cavity.  Quality replacements have Composite Polymer Cones, for moisture resistance and strength.

For now I will leave the OEM Amps alone in place.

See if GM will offer a future software upgrade for Infotainment control, of a  Ludicrous 3 Band Tone Equalizer, to a more Industry Standard 12 Band , to fine tune the sound to our individual tastes, and vehicle cabin acoustics.

Door panels not too difficult to remove, as are the "A" Pillars. My fear is removing the '23-'24 Denali Dash Pad, to replace the 2.75" junk, with the 2 way (with tweeter) Pioneer TS-A709's.

Pix of the door and "A" pillar "Imposter Bose Speakers" attached. Will have to add another reply due to file size limits.

More pix of "A" pillar Tweeter, and a potential replacement from Kicker, a #46CST204 ($56 / pair). Has a Titanium Dome, rather than Cloth, for a Brighter High End.

Infinity has a REF-375TX, Silk Cloth Dome, that is "softer" tone. than a Kicker or JBL, with a Metallic Dome construction.

These for the "A' pillar , and Rear Door Bose Upper Tweeter.

Have the Bose in my 23'RST.

Would you guys suggest the 10inch factory sub from kicker or just door speaker replacements to help?

This honestly is the worst bose system I've ever owned. Currently have 2 other new chevy products with the bose and they sound 100x better.

I agree.....!!!!  I had a '03 Tahoe Z-71, with Bose, and sounded Excellent !!!!!!! My new '24 HD Denali Bose......

Cow and Horse pies in the field.

I will add my years as a pro musician,.... go for the existing speaker replacements first, with Quality 2 way Door Speakers, (to replace the China Poo paper cone garbage), and quality "A" Pillar, and Dash 2.75" side's with the Pioneer TS-A709 that one owner did that says were an incredible improvement.

The Sub Woofer, will only shake your butt and rattle the windows. Not improve the overall Pig Mud Puddle Muffle of the existing China Poo garbage.

I've had JBL , Altec-Lansing, and other high end speakers in my performing stage speakers for decades, and home stereo as well.

Shame on GM for the Hood Wink on Us, and Degradation of the Bose name Quality in the industry, in these new vehicles.  Branded the Bose name and Speaker Grill Sticker..............Where's the BEEF !!!!

Should research what a Caddy new sport coupe has for speakers..... Could be the same Smoke and Mirrors, as a $995 sunroof in a Tahoe, and a  $1,995 same mechanical one in an Esclade.

Got my blood boiling on this one, to have to pull the truck apart, to get it to where it was Promised to Be at ordering and delivery, at more expense to US !!

Oh by the way, Yup, my Rear Diff was 1.5 Qt. low after delivery, and the Front, .75 qt. . Dealer said they checked this before I picked her up, after I sent them the blog copies.......

How did you do that? The smalls claims?

I downloaded and filled out the paperwork. Took to my County Courthouse (We have 3 locations in our big county) and filed then mailed the Court certified originals to GM's registered agent in my State. I'm only claiming the cost of the replacement speakers and what I paid for the Bose system per the MSRP. Claim is under 6k.

This sounds like it could go somewhere. .. I'd like to hear how this turns out. My warranty is almost expired so this could be something that I might have to do too

Just sayin.....

Let us know the outcome in about 10-years......Not worth the time/effort IMHO.  🫣

Small Claims does not take long at all.  It will however be interesting how GM responds.  The issue is, they do not provide a specific listing of components and materials, so it's going to be tough to suggest they misrepresented anything. They are selling a complete system that performs in a manner that is entirely subjective.

They could very well turn it around on this self-proclaimed audio expert and suggest he should have known that Bose is well known as not audiophile quality and he knowingly purchased it any way.

This will be interesting.

Who says they are not Bose speakers?

Bose used to be a premium audiophile company decades ago......we all know they are pretty much just a name now and not premium audio products.

You think GM buys from Bose the same as a consumer would?

GM purchases from Bose in mass quantity with special made products to fit GM specs and GM pricing scheme.......they are not going to spend extra to be fancy looking or have a Bose logo on them, when they are hidden inside a door panel.

"Bose" is just a marketing  scheme to entice the consumer.........."WoW, look it has a Bose sound system in it"

Whoop-D-Dooo.....

Bose speakers in gm trucks have been paper cones since they started the option back in 1999. No one should expect a factory system to be of high grade, even i bet the Bowers and Wilkins that Mercedes/Audi uses are not what most would consider high quality speakers either as they are oems. Though from the 80's 90's and early 2000's these setups blow those past setups out of the water, even with cheap paper speakers.

If the 12 speaker setup that comes with the ultimate package is sub par to you then your an audio head and of course stock just isn't going to cut it. I can tell you though, aftermarket speakers not on an aftermarket amp are going to sound horrible imo, even worse than the stock setup.

They have to respond in 14 days from the date of service or its a default judgement. Mediation is also required in my County which by law must be done within 60 days.
